Fuimos a comer el miércoles a eso de las 2:50 pm nos recibió la mesera muy amable por cierto si no me equivoco se llama Marisol, bueno pedimos un choriqueso y el chorizo sabía a quemado, después pedimos unas fajitas y omg la carne súper dura y sin sabor pusieron más vegetales que carne 😅 al igual mi esposo la pidió con camarón y steak y eran igual puros red peppers, lo único que pude comer fue un side de frijoles charros, le comenté ala mesera que me diera un limón...read full review
I love this place! Finally, there's a neighborhood restaurant in Brookside East serving terrific Mexican food, so I no longer have to drive to the Blvd or Wyandotte County to get a decent Mexican meal. Service and food are great!

Muy Caliente Mexican Grill and Cantina I is a new favorite spot in KC. The food is amazing, made from scratch, flavorful, and comforting. Service is always gracious, courteous, friendly, and efficient. The choriqueso is extraordinary and pairs nicely with the street tacos for a yummy meal with leftovers. Portion sizes are big; one guest received more rice than flautas. The trio fajita burrito is large and filled with steak, chicken, shrimp, refried beans, peppers, and onions covered with cheese and red salsa. The giant burger comes on a giant platter with fries, peppers, and three different sauces (ranch, hot salsa, guacamole sauce), all good. The Mango margarita is brain freezing and tasty. The salsa is deliciously saucy. Guests enjoy sitting at the bar to chat with the friendly owner or staff. Everything on the menu has been great, and they keep adding more.
