It's 7 am and hot Blueberry Lemon Scone with a glaze just came out of the oven and is resting on the counter next to the register. You pretty much have to try one.The scone is delicious. I tend to ignore scones because I feel like they are a bit dry. This was still warm so it was moist in the center with a nice crunch on the edges. The blueberry and lemon flavors are equal and compliment each other perfect!Pour over Mexico Cerro Azul. This one was recommended as being a bit funky....read full review

I rarely leave reviews, but I had an AWESOME experience at Second Best!! I have cut out sugar and eating healthier. Nathan, the owner shops out the BEST ingredients for his coffee drinks AND food. The vegan chorizo burrito was fabulous!! They invest more in ingredients that are higher quality and support local!! We will be back!!

Whenever we're traveling, we always like to find the best local coffee shop. On the recommendation of a local we headed over to second best. There's nothing second best about this place! My husband who doesn't like cold coffee even enjoyed their winter eggnog special. The only negative about this place is it's very far away from home. We will definitely be stopping back anytime we're in the area. The scones were delicious as well!
