Subway in Kansas City

“Tbh, Subway in general has become too expensive for what it is. However, this Subway is the nicest and best ran store I’ve been to in a long time. It’s incredibly clean consistently, food is always well made for what it is, and the staff is friendly. Don’t shy away from this location if you’re still a Subway fan.

Vegetarian options: It’s Subway. Make the sandwich without meat. But they have plenty of veggie options to choose from and good sauces to complement it.“

“Every now and then, I find myself craving a subway. That would have never happened if it wasn't for this location to tickle my taste buds, lol. Under no circumstances would I recommend someone to order Subway with so many other options out there. But this location nails it. I always order from the app, and I'm yet to witness any error in the completion of my order. There are many subway franchises, but they're not all the same, so please do yourself a favor and give this place a shot. I think you'll be coming back, I have a subway 4mn from my house, yet I drive the extra 10 to order from here. Enough said“

“Both times I have been to this subway, everything was great! The staff was very friendly. The ingredients were all stocked and looked really fresh! They do honor subways coupons last I went here but there are a couple of the most expensive sandwiches they won’t let you get. They used to have a lil sign up explaining that they haven’t been a franchise location that does coupons but they will honor for their customers anyway, they just ask that you keep it to the sandwiches on the list. Ham, turkey, cold cut, Italian bmt, meatball were all there if I’m remembering correctly. The gentleman making my sandwich was also patient as could be when my 11 year old called yelling at the top of her lungs in the middle of building our sandwiches to make sure I didn’t miss the cookies. She doesn’t always have a volume button but he was kind and waited while I hurried her off the call. Reminded me about cookies when I went to pay (I have ADHD so couple mins all it takes for me to forget 😆🫣)

“Decided to get the BOGO deal for me and my girlfriend, on that hunter gather type vibe. Girlfriend orders the all pro sweet teriyaki, and I order the #4 supreme meats. Getting to the store to pick my order up, I enter the store and the manager asks for my name. I tell him my name and show him my order, the manager looks at me and said "I'm sorry the #4 supreme meats has been discontinued, but we did add the extra capicola and pepperoni to it" customer service like that is hard to find nowadays, Manager could of just told me to get bent and I have to wait for another sandwich to me made, but they just went ahead and ran the extra mile just so I could have a good experience. Thank you Subway.“

“So, Google is asking me to review my visit to subway. However I didn't go to Subway at all. I went right next door to Kam Sheng. I go there instead because it's sooooooo good. Have you ever tried a Dragon and Phoenix!? No? Then you haven't lived. Go try it.“

“The individual at the cashier was very helpful and polite. My order was supposed to be ready at 12:10p. I arrived right on time; however, the order was not ready. He immediately apologized (with a good attitude). A couple minutes later, he gave me my order, apologized again for been busy, and told me to have a nice day. When I arrived at my office (about 5 minutes later) my food was still warm. Overall, a great experience.“

“This is one of my favorite locations to visit, I love the manger he’s super cool and always has a smile when creating your desired sandwich! The new layout is really cool and this location has always been very clean.

“Poor girl was the only one working and had several customers waiting in line. I had placed an on line order. She stopped to fill my order. She was very calm and professional. I felt bad for her and feel she should not have been alone to try to keep up with everything. They do have a help wanted sign up. I sure hope they realize what a good worker she is and appreciate her. Didn't get her name, but thank you again for doing such a great job“

“I just left this subway location and felt compelled to write a review. I didn’t catch the two employees names while there today (3/1/25 at 11:50 am), but they were incredible kind and considerate. I walked in having just unexpectedly leaving my dog for inpatient hospitalization teary eyed and completely flustered. Both ladies took excellent care of me, asked me if I was okay, and wished me and my pup well on my way out. Having lived in this area for a while, this subway is located in a tough part of town that would harden anyone, understandably, against small acts of kindness like this. Thank you ❤️“

“Christine made my experience the best I've ever had at a subway the smile and greeting to the food to the goodbye come see us again my sandwich was the best ever made eye catching people eat with their eyes first. “Been here several times. The manager is friendly, flexible, and always has good recommendations for combinations to try on my sandwich. Store is always clean, food always tastes fresh. The line can take 15-30 minutes during the weekday lunch hour, but the service is as fast as one could reasonably expect. Outside of that hour, it’s very quick in and out. Daytime parking is metered unless you want to walk a block.“

I’ve been eating Subway for 25 years, and this was the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The guy behind the counter at 12:20 knew exactly what he was doing. Everything was fresh, stacked right, and put together like he actually cared. No sloppiness, no shortcuts—just a solid, damn good sandwich. Respect to him. That’s how it should be done.“

“Located on campus at Avila, this Subway is also open to the public. It is a typical Subway. Everything was clean and nice when we tried it, and the customer service was exceptional. The student working when we ordered completed our order accurately and was exceptionally kind and friendly. Great to have in the neighborhood.“

“Good food, not very busy every time I have been. Some locations take coupons and some don't. Usually, have to ask for more lettuce or Mayo. Other light handed or over the top depends on the server. If I want more I definitely ask . Overall it's great!“

“I was helped by Thomas, who was bright, smiling, and eager to make my sandwich. He asked all of the correct questions in the correct order and his timing was great too! Having worked at subway for 7 years and managed for 2, I wish I had employees like him. After I approached the till, I was promptly helped by Joseph and he perfectly upsold me on a medium drink and I noticed Thomas was taking temperatures of all products on the make-table. Perfect experience. 5 stars.“

“I appreciated their efforts to meet my dietary needs! (Other Subways have been unwilling to accommodate customers' dietary needs such as gluten allergy without charging more.) The front door is confusing though because it's locked even when they are open. There's no sign letting you know that you have to wait for them to let you in.“

“I went in right in the middle of a dinner rush. There was two people working, a young man and an older women. They had obviously been working very hard and had a long day. The women was extremely pleasant and very witty. I would come back just for her!“

“Great kinda healthy food and the fit long is enough for 2 people to share. I usually get the turkey sub with all the veggies and mayo on the toasted cheese bread and it's always good. The bread is fresh, veggies are crisp and they load it up so it's a meal. This location seems to have an issue with my having enough staff because they often only have 1 person working or may be closed because nobody came to work but the food is good and when they are open the staff is friendly.“

“This particular subway seems to go beyond customer service, Especially when the rest of the fast food establishments in the area fall so short. The whole staff speaks spanish and english, and will hold actual conversation with you opposed to the routine take your order and throw it at you attitude of most subways. Be sure to tip the staff here, they deserve it.“

“Great food but Tamera needs an attitude adjustment! I went in ordered my sandwich and because she forgot to pre-heat the toaster oven I got attitude. Can't even buy a darn sandwich before work without someone putting you in a bad mood.. was only there 5 maybe 6 minutes and the vibe from Tamera made me wanna call in. I don't understand the people here. I don't know you you don't know me I try to leave the encounter with you having a good vibe about me but negativity breeds !“

“We go to this location at least once a week, and mainly because Lena is such a sweetheart. She is fast, and ALWAYS remembers our order. It's so appreciated, ESPECIALLY when it seems I am always rushed that she cares enough to get to know us.“
