“Tonight we came to Thai Orchid for my birthday and sat in Dylan’s section and he was outstanding! So friendly and attentive. He gave us just enough time without being pushy. Our food was wonderful and fresh. I cannot recommend this location enough. We ordered the soft spring rolls, steamed dumplings, shrimp yellow curry and the shrimp pad Thai. Delicious!“

“This place is fantastic! I had sent a message via FB to ask a question about their menu and they responded back almost immediately. I have food allergies and I know most Thai food is gluten free but wanted to check. they were so help informing me what I could have and even messaged me back that they received my order and had it started. I highly recommend this place on customer service alone.“

“If you are ever in Kansa City you have to go here! This is not only the absolute best Thai I’ve had in Missouri, it is quite possibly the best Thai I’ve ever had! Bubble tea is yummy (we had honeydew and taro flavors and both we equally amazing). Crab Rangoon was craveable. Now let’s talk about the PANANG CURRY…it was so good that we didn’t want to eat it so it would always be with us!“

“Delicious food and very nice decor inside the restaurant! The Taiwanese style egg rolls were delicious, and Thai wings were very tasty but had a little bit dry meat. Loved the lad na noodles - very unique Thai noodle dish that I haven’t had at other Thai restaurants. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend!“

“Best Tom Yum soup in KC! If you’re feeling under the weather, grab a bowl. It’ll warm you right up and clear your sinuses. I get the medium heat, and it has a nice kick to it. “Had a great team lunch at Lulu’s today. Josh was our server and did an incredible job. He was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly for our large group, even as the only server. The food came out fast and the service made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Looking forward to coming back.“

“One of my favorite sushi spots! The location is convenient, the staff are always friendly, and the food is wonderful! I live very nearby, so being able to walk to a nice restaurant without needing a vehicle is very nice. They also offer very reasonable and affordable prices on their menu, as well as some more expensive items for a bit more luxury if you so desire!

They have a lot of good options, and I never worry about the freshness of their fish. Although, my favorites are the Hokkaido roll and the Kyoto roll, usually with a small bottle of their green apple or white peach sake.

The atmosphere is lovely with their easy seating, colorful banners, and art decor. And they have a wonderful service as well.

This last time tonight when my girlfriend and I ordered, they also gave us an extra bottle of sake on the house! I was very touched by this.

Overall, I will continue to be a customer to this lovely little sushi spot! It's not in the biggest area, but please give it the love it deserves!“

“Our group of 3 was impressed by all the dishes we ordered. The sauce flavors were complex and tasty, the amount and quality of vegetables and protein relative to rice/noodles was very generous. The spice level medium was pretty accurate for Americans. Portions were big, none of us finished a full dish at lunchtime. Prices are probably a little high for Kansas but the dish size/quality seemed worth it. We live in San Francisco and these dishes were on par with some of our fancier Thai restaurants.“

“I was looking for something different and the brisket Rangoon caught my eye on line and brought me in. The thought of bbq thai fusion was intriguing. I was greeted immediately but was on my own so opted to sit at the bar. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the menu, the food and the business. I told her I had come in for the rangoon and told her I didn’t want straight Thai or straight BBQ but to pick anything she would recommend. I told her I have a high heat tolerance, no weird food allergies and like just about everything. She chose the red curry burnt ends with steamed rice. The manager joined us and we all had great conversation about the food, food in general and their sister restaurant Muni in the River Market. Food, service, presentation and atmosphere were all fantastic. All of the recommendations were spot on. I look forward to my next opportunity.“
