Came to check this place out because I was visiting my friend in KC, and we were craving some Thai food. I always order drunken noodles (pad kee mao) to judge a Thai place. I also got a Thai tea as well. The food was pretty good, and the portion was big enough for me to take home some leftovers. We came on a Monday night, and it wasn't too crowded.
Food was amazing, the star of our meal was the soups. Tried both the Tom Kha and Tom yum, heavily recommend both. The other star was definitely Hayden, who hosted us (and was spot on with our estimated wait time), was attentive to all the tables, wonderfully kind and welcoming, and was cleaning tables as soon as customers were out the door. He deserves a shout out, but the whole staff was great especially on such a busy (full dining room) lunch. Definitely try Thai Orchid!

I am incredibly impressed! Kaitlyn was our server and she exceeded expectations with a joyful attitude the entire time. Not only was she clearing all the tables, greeting customers promptly and cheerfully, running her own food, and answering the phone- she was also making all the drinks!Everything was delicious; I especially enjoyed the yellow curry! Will definitely be going back soon.
