“I highly recommend Kitchen 61. We’ve had a group of friends over for dinner twice this Christmas season and what great meals they made for us. The kettle-beef and all the sides were fabulous! Then several days later the pork tenderloin with raspberry sauce and sides were just as good. I will never stress again about cooking for company for special occasions. Kitchen 61 takes all the stress away and let’s me enjoy the company, besides the food is delicious. And the clean up afterwards is a snap! I highly recommend Karen Beggs, Kitchen 61.”

“Hands down, the best coffee shop in Cape Girardeau! I had a large iced golden brown sugar brew and my wife got a large cold crème brûlée. We sat there and drank our drinks. It was so good that I ordered another drink to go!!”

“Convenient on street parking. Reservations not accepted. Promptly seated at about 6 pm. Ordered a shrimp and a chicken and sausage etouffee. They were delicious. Service was good. Highly recommend.”

The “Choice of 5” tacos let us sample different flavors (birria was our favorite), and the steak Enchiladas Pacíficas were tasty and freshly made. We kept going back for more queso, and the margaritas were spot-on. Everyone who helped us was friendly and checked on us often. We’ll be back soon.”

“Stumbled upon this hidden gem while walking and exploring Downtown Cape Girardeau. Amazing display of music including cassettes, vinyl records, and cd's. Their record wall was astonishing and the atmosphere is very inviting. Drinks were well worth their price and the owner was super friendly and social. Will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend for anyone to try out. We had shots, coke/whiskey, and a Nudie Suit (Scientist Dub Mix) which included 6mg of THC”

“Amazing place, staff and food! We held a 21st birthday here and they were great to work with. There was about 70-80 people at one time and they rocked the service! Definitely 10 stars!”

“I wish I would have taken pictures! But it was all so good! There was a 30 minute wait, but the hostess said we could sit at the bar and it was full service! We ordered the Pueblo fries- 9/10! (He wanted more chili) I got the Gobbler Sammi- 10/10! And he got a single Smash Cheeseburger- 10/10. We said we would get to-go boxes, but we ate it all!!! Josh was our bartender and he was amazing! He was kind, had fun, gave us recommendations. He made one of the best Long Islands! But then his wife overheard and she had to make me one. It was a tie! They both were delightful! Josh also made a random concoction- i believe he said it was peach, sprite, mango???? I had a few to drink, okay. I don't remember. But I asked him to surprise me and he did! It's either called "That drink Stan Lee had with Edward Nortons blood" or Caramel apple. 🤣🤣 We definitely will be back. Loved the atmosphere, everyone was friendly and made conversation, and the food and drinks were delightful.”

“This place has amazing ice cream and the service was absolutely great both times we were there . Also My husband was very excited they had Superman ice cream (not many places outside of Michigan have it surprisingly).Our kids also love the flavors they got and they have a very nice selection of flavors as well. This ice cream shop is also very clean which is awesome as well. Would recommend stopping in and getting ice cream from here.”

“I have had a lot of different coffee from a lot of different places, and this was an incredible experience. I often enjoy a good pour over from a roaster to really highlight their skill and roasting. But these guys pulled a shot of their Ethiopian and of their decaf and it blew my mind. The flavors were so fresh and delicious and the hospitality was off the charts. I highly recommend visiting this place and making it your go to coffee shop.”
