“I just wanted to give this place a shout-out! We were heading back to RepMo after lacrosse games in Columbia on Saturday, and we were craving sandwiches. Since it was a bit of a hidden gem, we decided to stop by. I totally spaced on the closing time and we showed up 30 minutes before! 😬We felt terrible when we realized it. But the lady working there was incredibly kind and gave us some amazing recommendations. Seriously, it was great! I don’t know her name, but she deserves a huge compliment! When she heard we still had a long way to go, she offered us chips, and after we ate, she brought us the check with some brownies for the road. Absolutely the best service I’ve had post Covid. If you’re reading this and you’re the one who served us, THANK YOU! You’re awesome! I highly recommend eating here, whether you’re local or just passing through. We’re definitely making the drive back just to eat here again.”

“We absolutely love El Charro's! Whether it's a lunch or dinner it's always done right, flavorful and fresh! I'm not big on their chips (too thick imo) but their salsa makes it better. The staff is always friendly and competent.”

“I went here for breakfast today and it was delicious. I got the breakfast sandwich, the only thing I would change about that is having it on like sourdough bread or something instead of the croissant because I don't know how to eat like a lady and the flakes get everywhere 🤣🤣 I also just got a strawberry and lemon water which was also amazing I just wanted a bigger glass because it was so good and refreshing!! I also snagged a box of day old pastries that I've been snacking on all day that were also amazing, never had a scone until now and OMG they are amazing!”

“We got 3 different flavors of cupcakes for birthday's and they were beyond amazing! The strawberry shortcake cupcakes were absolutely out of this world! They were all a hit with everyone! We will definitely be going back here for cupcakes! The owner was also amazing and came in to meet with us on her day off! Absolutely amazing!”

“We came in to this location around 5pm on 11-4-24. The 2 teenage boys working done an AMAZING job. Ones name is Cale (sp?) My son recognized him, and then there was a very polite helpful teenager w/red hair working. From greeting us, to service with a smile, working efficiently & as a team, they quickly got our 3 foot longs meals together with great quality. This honestly was the quickest we've been in and out of any Subway! Those 2 work very well together, and know what their doing. We were all very pleased! Thank you to you both. “A great old fashioned burger joint. Best milkshakes around. Just drove out of my way for one. Didn't have today but usually get the mushrooms and a burger. Wish they were closer to where I live but glad they are still around. Got a large chocolate malt for $5.50. Great value. Always stop by when passing through.”

I choose mac and cheese and mash potatoes, both sides were delicious and a great value. She gave me one extra tender due to one being smaller the the rest. “Walking in, I was expecting another fast food chain restaurant but was pleasantly surprised by the sit-down atmosphere. We were seated quickly despite the place being busy. Prices felt very good (possibly because we were comparing them to sit down restaurants) and are good compared to other burger joints. I got the garlic burger and my wife got the regular burger and both were great. Possibly some of the best chain burgers we’ve had in a long time. Definitely will be coming back.”

“Food and service was just ok. Got a tea was charged 2.50 . It was so weak tasted like water. So got a Dr.Peper and was charged 2.99 for it. That is so overcharged I think that is wrong. One charge should have been enough. Told the floor Manger, she said o well. That's the way it is.”

“We live 1 hour away and wanted to try something new. So we made the trip here. Service was very slow, we got there at 4 pm. It wasn't that busy. Once we got to our seats I could tell there was heavy cigarette smoke in the air, my asthma did not like it. That was one major thing that would keep me from coming back. Our waitress also smelled of heavy cigarette smoke. The prime rib was really good, with lots of flavor. The mashed potatoes with white gravy were really good. It seemed they put gravy in the bowl then put mashed potatoes and then covered it with more gravy! So it was really good, not just a tiny amount of gravy like most places. The mac n cheese was okay but really kinda dry and stuck together not a lot of cheese. The appetizers sampler was really good. Fried Mushrooms ans cheese curds were really good. The cowboy candy was pretty good as well. not sure what the steak tips was marinated in what the dipping sauce was but it tasted good.”

“New management, a hell of a good surprise from food. Sweet/sour chicken was real whole white chicken breast, some of the best I've had. Prices very low for how high quality and quantity you pay for, recommended! DRIVE THRU ”

“I appreciate this DQ location. The GM there always thinks of their staff when the weather is getting bad will close. Putting safety over the few dollars they may make in bad weather. This speaks volumes of management . Big props‼️ I also,always have good service at this location. Food orders are always correct and food is fresh. Friendly as well.”
