“Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. Great pastries, delicious food and drinks. However our most recent visit we were given peanut butter cake pops. They weren't labeled at all. My daughter with a peanut allergy realized it after 1 bite thank goodness and with some Benadryl she's fine. I called after to confirm flavor and was told flavors rotate and to always ask what they were. They're not obligated to label peanut products but it would be nice if they did since it's a high allergen food :( They didn't even ask if she was ok. If you have allergies I would make sure to always ask and double check here.“

Clean and well lit inside and outside.

Great product and excellent meat selection.

The shelves were well stocked, date rotated where I examined. The shelf and stock I check was also clean.

No interaction with staff expect checkout which was fast and friendly.

The only minus in this otherwise 5 star review is the lack of bread in the bread aisle.

“I came to Morgana’s from Illinois, just outside St. Louis, MO. As a person living with Celiac disease this place seriously changed my life. We have NOTHING like this anywhere near me. I haven’t eaten out, let alone baked goods, since being diagnosed. I have been thinking about the croissants since my last bite. I also learned of a gluten free expo in the area from a flyer that I’ll be returning to the area for. Friendly atmosphere, adorable shop, incredible food.“

“We hosted my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary celebration at Be Free Family Farm last Saturday, and I couldn’t recommend the venue highly enough. It was perfect. One of the best things about the space is how adaptable it is. I’d been to a high school grad party there before, and I can’t think of anything further from a 50th anniversary than that! Be Free fit both perfectly. We had around 100 people total, with about 60–70 at the peak, and it was a little crowded but in an energetic way if that makes sense. It was mid-July and pretty hot outside, but the indoor space stayed cool the whole time. I’d love to host something there in the fall with the garage doors open. I’m sure that’s the perfect balance. Carl, Jennifer, and Scott were fantastic. They helped with setup, made sure we had everything we needed (including things we didn’t think of until we got there). Carl was quick to offer a ride for guests from the parking lot since we were dealing with mostly older guests. Scott and Jennifer helped welcome people inside and out, literally opening doors and showing people around. The sound system was great. They helped me get it going, and now I obviously want a Sonos setup at home 💀💰💵 Shout out to Apple Music for the ‘1975 pop rock’ playlist that was an easy option for a 50th anniversary. We catered food from Zarda BBQ in Blue Springs. I picked it up myself and ordered for 60, but we ended up with more than enough. Be Free had some catering equipment that we used. Here’s a text I got from my mom, 1/2 of the guests of honor: “Everyone said it was a great party and it truly was. Perfect place, perfect food. This wonderful little place, tucked off the side of the highway, has existed since before my time. It has amazing prices for your budget! They offer fresh bread assortment, bagels, sweet treats, varied canned goods, candies, dry mix in pouches. This product is exactly the same as what the grocer has, just way better priced and sold by really awesome people.

The folks who run and operate the premises are super nice, helpful and kind. While I was there shopping with Nana, an older gentleman came in with mobility issues and was assisted during his entire visit by an employee who came in from stocking to specifically help him.“

“Pleasant experience at this place! I walked in at around 11 AM to request a cookie cake to be made for our little one’s birthday party that day and was guaranteed to have it ready around 12:30 PM. I gave them the “theme” of the cookie cake and kindly let them know to “be creative and do what you believe is best”. I went to pick up the cookie cake and was very impressed! For those that are curious, this cookie cake tasted as good as it looked and had the kids at the birthday party asking for seconds! Aside from the cookie cake, the staff that I have encountered were all very friendly and really delivered their services from the start to the pickup. “Cheri did my daughter's 1st birthday cake and cookies and did an amazing job last year. I didn't know how she was going to top this years farm theme. Boy did she deliver again! The birthday cake was just pure art and on top of that delicious. With no direction from me other than the theme she nailed it. No one will be making my daughter's birthday cakes other than Cheri! What a gift she has!“
