Hardee's in Malden offers a mixed experience. The restaurant plays Christian music, and the shakes are still the best, with a simple strawberry shake being a highlight. The bacon egg and cheeses are the bomb, and the food can be great, fresh, and feel more Homemade than other fast food. The dining room is clean, has a retro theme, and is neat and maintained. Restrooms are clean and neat. However, the staff can be goofing off and not paying attention, taking a long time to take orders. The drive thru was backed up bad and not moving. The manager is very rude, and there were issues with lying about the order. While the food can be pleasant and the atmosphere unique, the service and management need improvement.
