“Love the food and the ambiance inside the restaurant. I love the way they treat us costumers, they are so polite. And they even give us a fresh pineapple slice for treat after we finish eating our main dish. I’m gonna rate 4 stars on their outside resto appearance since it is quite dark outside since we came past 8pm. The design looks old, and it needs improvement. But if your looking for a authentic food like sushi, korean bulgogi and other korean food then this place is for you. Satisfied customer here.“

“Wonderful food. Elegantly presented sashimi, sushi, takoyaki, gyoza, udon, don buri (bowls of food), and other Japanese options. Many many types of sushi rolls. In total, there is not only more than standard Japanese fare, but it is also delicious, high quality, and beautifully presented. Many different sakes, mixed drinks, and Japanese beers along with international Gin, bourbon, tequila, rum options. They even have Japanese soda pop. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely decor with exquisite hand painted scenes. I had been there once before and couldn’t wait to go back for seconds to show my adult son who also, this day enjoyed his food immensely.“

“I have been a loyal customer for over a year and a half.. The food is always fresh and delicious! My go-to foods are the volcano rolls and the teriyaki chicken. They have other variations of teriyaki, like the shrimp and beef that will not disappoint either. The staff is friendly and welcoming, too. I would definitely recommend this place. 🤩“

The hospitality alone is enough to make me want to come back regularly, but the fact that the food has stayed consistently amazing for my whole life is incredible. Thai Nivas will forever be one of my favorite local places to grab a bite to eat!“

“The sushi is delicious. I got the sushi and sashimi chef special. Unexpectedly, there is wasabi in the sushi. The rolls were great! Was definitely enough food for two people, and the piece is about $70 after tax. Not too bad. I always wanted to come since I’ve heard good things from family. Now that I have, I will come back, just maybe not anytime soon. But overall the quality of the fish is fresh and good. I would’ve liked a little bit more rice on the sushi but it was good!“

“So me and my friend come here like once a month for their endless sushi lunch. They seriously have some of the best sushi in the area. Staff is friendly and the place is usually pretty quiet. I havent had anything I didnt like here. So I do recommend.“

“Ordered take-out and food was a lot more than I expected. Eel was great and it covered every inch of my rice. It justified the cost no doubt. Usually take-out you get skimped out but this place made sure you had plenty!

Price was comparable to other sushi places. I got the calamari appetizer and the unagi bowl (eel over rice), my go to sushi item.“
