The only complaint is I can’t have them on Sunday! :( We’ve tried to go back to other sandwich shops on a Sunday and it never compares to Gioia’s. “Came here randomly for my birthday and I'm am very satisfied. There was a worker there to greet us and get our order. It didn't take long to decide what to get and it was ready and fresh very quickly. Ordered a beef sandwich with bacon and peppers and it was delicious, they cooked the bacon fresh. The chicken bacon ranch mac'n cheese bowl and the garlic cheese bread are both delicious and pair great together. The building is very clean on the inside. We will definitely be returning here.“

““Voted the best gyro in STL“ and we had to stop by. Not going to be saying it’s the best in STL, but may stand a chance to be in our top 5. The service is friendly, generous, and lets you pick a tiny packet of chips to go with your order.

The sauce is a giant tub and despite that the person at the counter said it maybe small but will suffice. I loaded it up on my sandwich and still had a half left. The sauce is massive people. It isn’t tzatziki made of yogurt and cucumbers but has mayo mixed in it. It wasn’t savory, but almost very sweet tasting. Still can’t pinpoint what was in it, but it was different and tasty.

The gyro meat was premade hopefully on a spit. They only had to reheat it on a griddle. It was tender, juicy, but lacked the flavor of a gyro. The seasoning was tasty, but given that it was being reheated may have been the reason for its missing flavor. It’s huge and will easily fill you up. My partner and I split it and didn’t even reach for the packet of chips. Yes, we did have our home made salad on the side. Give this place a shot, it’s better than the other Americanized versions of Middle East cuisine.“

“I went to the store on Mid Rivers Mall Drive by HWY 94. The young lady that worked the drive through tonight is always so very nice to me. I wish I knew her name. She is young with dark hair. “The server was down for most of the St.Louis locations and the pickup order I thought I had placed using a gift card didn't go through, so it wasn't ready when I got there. They tried to work with me and Amanda patiently tried to get it all entered for me, but it wouldn't go through correctly. The manager made it right by taking care of the bill and letting me know that they want my business and knew I had been waiting and had ordered it through the app. Amanda later came back to my table to check on me. I will definitely keep coming back and it's close to home, they are very nice, and the food is good. I was at the Des Peres location.“

“Walked in and was immediately greeted with the scent of toasted 'Italian' bread that clings to your clothes for three business days. I ordered my usual Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki with Bacon. I know, the culinary equivalent of wearing a tuxedo with flip-flops. I like my tastebuds to be as confused as I am about my life choices. Despite subway bacon being nothing more than 'Bacon-Flavored Post-It Notes’, I’ve been adding bacon to my sandwiches since 2006. My 'Sandwich Artist' applied the mayo with the chaotic energy of a Jackson Pollock painting, though lightly sprinkled on lettuce like that viral “salt sprinkle guy”. I left with my sandwich that requires three napkins and a shower. I spent $15 on a loaf of bread that has the nutritional value of a gym mat, and I’ll probably smell like a Sweet Onion fever dream until Friday. Was it worth it? No. Will I be back soon to do it all over again? Absolutely.“

“Hands down for the last three weeks in a row I've gone to the Subway in Rock Hill on Manchester and gotten the friendliest service. The lady at the counter was genuinely nice and seems to really care about her quality of service. All the ingredients we're full and fresh that we added to my hot foot long sandwich. The restaurant was clean and organized. I've been eating half of the footlong sandwich for dinner and taking the other half for lunch at work the next day. “This place is adorable. The worker was friendly. They really made the most out of the little space that they had. It’s a fully functioning Subway, so all the food is pretty standard. I went on a weekday with one friend, so seating inside was nice. There’s room for 2 tables of 2 inside, and 2 tables of 3 outside, which is really the best they can do. Overall, it’s a convenient sandwich shop to stop by!“

“I've been to this Subway three times now, and every single visit has been phenomenal. The store is always spotless, the staff is consistently friendly, and the service is quick and on point. I stopped by again today around 7:55 PM (June 5th), and it was just as great as the first time. Everything was fresh, the sandwich was made exactly how I asked, and the employees were welcoming and professional. It’s clear they care about doing things right. Easily one of the best Subways I've ever been to.“

“Young worker addressed me at the register. Contactless pay was annoying. Asked me about tips and was just bad at contactless pay. Cook gave me my sandwich while the payment device was being a young worker. I was given a very correct sandwich. 5/5 would recommend the beach club. The workers upkeep the place.“

“Drive-thru is quirky. Not their fault. You can't go through the gas station parking lot like you would think. You turn into where Panera is and go to the back of the strip mall buildings and by the nail salon you can easily see the sign and drive through window. I made the mistake before of just driving through the strip mall and saw the Jimmy John's in the corner but it was a walk-in door. I'm sure there's rules against it or they would have done so but it would have been nice to have arrows and signs in a couple of places – unless I missed it. With traffic I missed the main entrance on the North side that would have made things much simpler. Now that I hunted it down I can find a more direct route. Maybe post a map on the Google Maps comments to show the way into the drive-thru would help? And the order taker was fantastic amazing friendly helpful. Great experience. From the drive-thru LOL“

“The food is fantastic. If you are in the mood for a great sub......this place is the best. I tried the Classic Grilled Italian Sub on multigrain, with fresh cut med fries. The fries were overflowing. The chocolate chip cookie is better than a bakery. I am ordering the cheesesteak sub next time. The staff are pleasant, and go beyond for you. Really fast each time I order here. Enjoy!“
