“This is our go-to pizza place. Love the stuffed crust pizza and the chocolate chip cookie. That's what one of us always orders. I'm more likely to experiment with different menu choices. The food is great, it's always on time, and the people are courteous and friendly.“
“I wanted to appreciate whoever made the Philly cheesesteak on this fine evening. it was cheesy to the feeling as if you’re in a trending tv commercial,I appreciate the way the cheese was hanging on by faith to that bodacious, fresh baked, pizza. The only thing missing with that pizza was buffalo sauce and making sure you rest peacefully tonight knowing you can make a marvelous pizza dawg.“
“Was in the mood for tuna bowl or some sort of bowl that was healthy and we happened to be down the street the Honey Bee when this place came up and saw that I had 37 minutes to get there and get my bowl lol. This place is hidden in a corner and can't see it so you have to know where to look....I passed it once But we walked in on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30. My daughter and I were planning on ordering and taking it to go since they close at 2. But, the lady(assuming owner) was inviting, didn't seemed bothered that we came in right before closing so we ordered our food to dine in.Daughter got their squid fried sticks and chicken tenders (she's 9 don't judge lol). She liked both of them and said were very good. I did try a bit of her chicken tenders and chicken was fresh not dried....wasn't expecting much for tendies but was impressed. I of course got the beef bulgogi with the egg on top. It was so good and extremely filling! We even ordered the chicken tenders at 1:47 at our food and was out by 2! I also over heard the lady literally taking a to go order with 5 minutes before closing. I love how accommodating and kind she was. The kinda service that makes me def want to come back and want to dry their other stuff. Def recommend giving it a try. It's nothing fancy.....food is served on to go containers, paper plates, plastic cups, etc. the chairs weigh a ton lol. But the food and service is top notch“
“Really great food without all of the grease that you usually get with fried food. Not only do they have top notch chicken (probably the best in St Louis), but they also have really good fish and shrimp. They have frog legs! I haven't tried them yet but judging by their other food they're probably as exceptional as they look. They have good portions on the yummy sides, as well. The okra is prepared and cooked correctly- not slimy or greasy at all. The staff is super friendly and courteous. It's a nice atmosphere to dine in; adequate seating and eclectic decorations. Not fast food in quality and ambiance, but close to fast food speed getting your order.“
“It was a pleasant experience they were so professional and the food was amazing and that instagram video brought me out and from the looks of things it brought a lot of people out that peach juice tho? this most definitely my new wing spot?????????“
“I think we found a new favorite pizza place! Every time I walk past the fridge, I grab a piece of cold pizza from last night. The pizza is loaded with toppings and delicious! The service was amazing! It was our first time there and we were slow to order, but we were made to feel welcome and all of our questions were answered. They were extremely busy and the host made time to welcome us and make sure we were satisfied with our meal. We will be back when we are in the area!“
“Last night , I spent hours searching for the best restaurants in St Louis and I stumbled upon this one. The reviews were amazing and let me tell you, the reviews were correct. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We tried the bulgogi and rice bowl, the charred wings, and cheese fries. We also tried a peach shot, they didn’t taste strong but the results were. I normally don’t visit a restaurant more than once but I’ll be a repeat customer anytime that I’m in town. I also loved the customer service. The woman taking my order was very cheery and made me feel welcomed. Many of the customers are repeat customers that were also talkative and welcoming. I’ve been to hundreds of restaurants and this one is definitely in my top 5.“
“Just went to Chuck's on South Kingshighway (old Courtesy Diner) near Tower Grove Park. So glad they are there. What great food and service. Had 3pc tenders (Level 3) and Chicken Sandwich (Level 2). Both were great; good flavor, crunchy breading, and juicy. I prefer my chicken on the spicier side, so I'd go with Level 3 from now on. Pickles added great flavor and crunch. They have other higher levels of heat, as well as a Zero Level for those that just want great fried chicken. Also had the seasoned fries, which were hot and crispy; green beans (very good and typical southern style with bacon and onions); and slaw which we also really enjoyed. Finally the service was fast and very customer friendly. I recommend giving it a try and I'll definitely be back.“
“First time eating here the food was pretty good wanted to dine in but the area was too small for us with the traffic coming in and out the only thing I didn't like about my food was I didn't see my cheese on my fries n my guy egg roll wasn't crispy but overall the service was great the lady was very polite and the cool aide was on point we will be coming back“
“Absolutely one of the best restaurants in St. Louis. They are known for the golden fried chicken. The breading is very good. Very juicy perfectly cooked chicken. They have the BEST fried mushrooms I’ve had. The wings are AMAZING. It gets better. The SAUCES are delicious ?. All are homemade from scratch. The owner Charlene is so sweet and kind. The customer service here is excellent. This is a MUST STOP place to eat! The sides are so good you will be back for more!“
“Great Restaurant, the cashier who’s name is TK seated me and my friends and had us try some awesome food ever since then i come in once a week and I’ve been trying something new from their menu once a week will definitely be a regular customer at STL City “
“Definitely coming back! I came here today for work to order for myself and my guys for the first time. The manager was very welcoming and introduced himself and advised me on food favorites and was very kind. He went above and behind my expectations! He even gave me a discount for my first time here ordering for my employees. I’m definitely coming back here and eating more because of the quality of the service and food but overall because he is a kind helpful man. Great manager of this location !“
“i got the potato bowl with all the toppings & chicken. it was BOMB. i put sour cream in it and some ranch.the chicken tenders and nuggets were really tough and hard to eat for my kids.my husband got loaded fries and it was good but mediocre like something you'd get at a high school baseball game lol.the onion rings are fire but the fried pickles were not good!!They gave a lot of sauces which was cool af!“
“I have been to Boss Wings multiple times for dinner for myself and I have also ordered multiple pans for a party. Never disappoints!!!From his wings to pasta to salads…. Simply amazing! If you haven’t tried Boss Wings…. You are truly missing out!“
“This spot did not disappoint! The portions are nice and filling. The food is FRESH and FLAVORFUL! If you want authentic Jamaican / Caribbean Soul Food this is the spot. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my food…sweet plantains, rice and peas, and the Caribbean Rice Bowl. Worth the $ and drive from U-City to Cherokee!! My recommendation if you’ve never tried is to check their social media to confirm they’re open before making the drive. I missed them last week due to a catering event.“
“Excellent restaurant. Pizza World has delicious food, positive atmosphere, helpful staff, and brilliant service. I highly recommend the Americana Ultimate Gourmet Pizza, especially if you like pizza that is outside the "traditional" ideas of what flavors pizza should be.“
“For my first time here, I really liked it! It’s a decent chicken joint with several different levels of spice for said chicken. I got 5 tenders on the level 1, because it was my first time and I didn’t wanna go too high on the levels and end up not enjoying it. If you’re a first-timer like I was, I’d recommend either level 1 or 2. One of my friends had level 2 and I was able to handle that alongside level 1. The chicken itself was super tasty, and what I liked about it the most was there was a lot of meat and not a lot of breading; you find lots of places nowadays that have more breading than meat, but this wasn’t an issue at this place. 10/10, I’ll be sure to stop by again if I’m in St. LouisParking: Huge parking lot in front of the store that is free to park in“
“I am so happy to find out now I can have my pizza delivered. It is well worth it... The guys are so kind and every time I order, I get the best pizza. All dishes are great. The prices are fabulous.Pasta dinner hot the spot when I need a meal for 2 days.My Friday meal“
“Come in on a slow night, bar tender was prompt. Not sure why an Irish Bar plays nothing but 90/2000’s country music. Food not impressive, limited menu, which makes you think they would be good at a select few things, good place to grab a drink and watch a game, not much more.“
“It's new and still finding it's way but my experiences have been well. The food was accurate, the employees all aim to please, the prices are reasonable. Prepare to wait 20 minutes on all orders. Call ahead or place your order and check out the smoke shop next door. They are also open late.“
“This place was pretty nice for my first time going. They have a lot of sauces to choose from for the wings. I got spicy blue cheese and honey hot garlic. Both were pretty delicious. I also bought some fried fish. This needed a little more seasoning, but overall, it was just okay. I will definitely go back because they also sell fried rice, which I'll be trying next. This is definitely a one-stop shop. The customer service was great and friendly, and the vibe was nice as well.“
“Fried Shrimp was seasoned well and was hot! Hubby had plain wings and even though it's a seafood place, they were seasoned well and hot also. I will definitely be back, and even though our waitress was slow to get our entire order together, she was very sweet.“
“It's such a great place to hang out and enjoy a minute for yourself. The staff is amazing, and there's some great people to chat withKid-friendliness: We bring our kids in for lunch or an early dinner once in a while because they love the staff and all of our now friends that hang out here“
“As a small business owner The Service and attitudes i recieved tonight was outstanding One waitress was busy and didnt see me slip in so someone else came and helped me until she was ready good team enviroment my opinion, they was Nice letting me stay to the last minute without worrying cleaning after close never told me to leave i really appreciate that! i recommend making this a daily Kickback spot I will def be back real soon -hemi“
“We sat ourselves at the bar, & ordered Garlic Ch.Bread, The High Five, & two sw.teas. Bar tender was very helpful & nice, food came out within good time. We really enjoyed the Potatoe Skins & Wings. The bread was also good.. Before leaving we ordered a pizza to take with us.. again we were satisfied.. & our bill was under $50!!(I'm very interested in the salads if we visit in the future.)“
“We order from here for work lunches once in a while and they are always amazing! The pizza is absolutely delicious and the salads are good as well. We all agree at work that the ranch dressing is amazing! So good ?We always opt for delivery and the food comes very fresh and hot every time.“
“Excellent service, great sandwiches, large house salads. Tried Mr. X & Mrs. X sandwiches. Toasted a bit differently than most, but both good. A little slow, I'd recommend calling and ordering ahead. Medium House Salad was bigger than most other places, heavy on the provolone.Parking: Street parking only as far as I can tell.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp for wheel chair access.“
“Cane's is the Best oh their food be hot and good I've never had a bad experience with them at all Thank You Cane's I would recommend you to people especially folks that comes to visit from out of town they keep a friendly smile ? and they have great customer “
“ECP in chesterfield and its sister Epic pizza in soulard serve the BEST PIZZA in St. Louis! The crust is fantastic and they clearly use quality ingredients, which is increasingly harder to find. Support your local pizza places. They also have a great beer selection and great apps.“
“This restaurant was a great find. Walked in and was greeted with a smile and hello. Recommendations from the worker did not disappoint. Good made fresh to order and attentive service, as well as a relaxing atmosphere, make this place a must visit.“
“Staff were extremely friendly, my toddler was throwing a tantrum and the staff were understanding and helped me calm my toddler down! The food was amazing and everything looked and tasted delicious! This is the only place I liked to buy wings from! Yumm I’m salivating just thinking about them! They are the best wings in Saint Louis!“
“Had my phone delivered to me. The food was really good, been avoiding take out places/restaurants for a while bc I’m very particular but seriously the best take out I’ve had in a while. Never in my life ever been a tart sauce person but OMG best tartar sauce I’ve ever had. The shrimp was outstanding (again not something I eat Ever!) it’s a bit of drive for but I’ll definitely be back“
“Delicious ❤️❤️❤️we are visiting from Memphis and I wanted some fried fish…….let me just say I was not disappointed. This was everything that I wanted and some more. I pray many Blessings on your business. From the cashier to the management…..AWESOME….Service and Food….Please stop by and grab some of this amazing service and food ❤️❤️❤️“
“This place has remained one of the best southern style fried chicken places for years.Nothing crazy or different. Just some of the best textbook fried chicken you can get in STL.I prefer the spicy breading over the normal one but both are spectacular. 9.1-8.8 clucks respectively.“
“I went on an evening that just happened to be snowy one, so the crowd was slim. They were not open yet, but they let me come in and order because it was cold out! The crowd did however pickup before I left, which was about after an hour of my arrival. Sue the bartender was very nice, and made some scrumptious cocktails. The music was cool, and kept the upbeat vibe going. Upon departing, I ordered the pork chop and fries to go from the connecting doorway. The food was delish, and my overall experience was on point.“
“D’s Place is one of my favorite bars in Soulard. I come every Wednesday. Food is good, they have enough TV’s that any game worth watching can be put on at least one of the TV’s, and the drinks are always cold. Jess is a great bartender and server. The patio is huge and a great place in the spring/summer/“
“This place was amazing! That's a LOT coming from a restaurant family! Seasoned well, fresh oil /ingredients, perfectly cooked. Looked like the pictures. We'll be back. We had the shrimp, mushrooms and gizzards. A large lamb gyro salad. I would just separate the hot meat in foil next time, wrap cold condiments in foil or separate. Hot /cold items should ALWAYS be separate. Saftey & presentation. 5 stars though, thank you!“
“First time coming here and the atmosphere and food was great. Good music and vibes. Bartender is incredibly friendly, cooks were on point, and everyone was having a great time. Honestly don’t know what else you could ask for. You’re doing yourself a disjustice by not coming here. Thanks for the great time!“
“They have such a great take on chicken wings! The wings themselves are very delicious. So much meat on the bone. They're cooked to perfection, still nice and juicy, with a nice crunch from the breading. The boneless wings are huge and are pretty much big pieces of cut up breasts. The sauces are great too. Many of them are Asian twists on classic styles. The sides are great too. Very good all around.“
“When my siblings and i walked into McLain's for our annual siblings' night out last night, we were greeted by the bartender and multiple patrons as if we were all great friends. We've never felt more welcome. There's a digital juke box, a pool table , and a shuffle board. I could do without the indoor smoking, but luckily there were only a couple of smokers. What a great little neighborhood bar!“
“I have been a fans of Canes for a long time. The breaded tenders and canes sauce have always been a craving of mine since I discovered its culinary wonders. Sadly the large tenders have gotten smaller since my last time visiting a canes. I know it's not Stl Cane's fault.. it's a corporate thing.. but it was a little disappointing when the tenders were no longer the largest on the market.. but the price remained high.. I'm in foodservice.. and I know how hard the industry is struggling.. but if you drop the size of tenders and charge the same price.. that's a little sad.. I wouldn't mind paying more for the big tenders like I wanted when choosing canes.. I will return and hopefully this was just a one off.“
“I typically placed my order through the app. Food always ready when I get there but I do usually have to repeatedly ask for hot sauce even though I check ketchup and hot sauce during the time I order. I stopped getting their Arnold Palmer-like drink because it is never right. Overall, Canes is always on my short list for fast food.“
“Portions, prices, and efficient service are the reason I keep coming back. The atmosphere may look suspicious to the average Todd, and Sandy, but the gyro always hits?? I do have to dice my onion and tomato when I get home though, that's the only downside!“
“Finally!! A place that has the perfect tripe! I have searched North County high and low looking...and they have it. The bbq is very good. My personal opinion, it's better than Red's. All the menu items taste great...down to the cake. If you in the area, it's worth it“
“Stopped here in February of 2024, was seated and tended too fast and efficiently. They had a vast menu AND a special menu in place for catholic lenten foods ( very appreciated), we ended up getting fried pickles ( DELICIOUS) and then I got fish and chips. It came with a large amount of delicious sides and the filet itself was good. Very good place to stop and I bet their regular grill items were also good.Dietary restrictions: Gave choices for catholic lent requirements“
“Bought 2 rib tip sandwiches let's just say love the sauce. Had one piece with meat & grizzle and the rest of sandwich hard flat ends both sandwiches. Really disappointed couldn't eat it. Waste of $31 Guess back to driving across the river 4 Que“
“Came here for some late night food randomly after a night out with friends on Washington Ave while visiting STL, and this was some of the best catfish and wings I’ve had in a long time! Fresh out the fryer and very well seasoned. Here for a weekend trip, and already planning to come back again tomorrow night!“
“I had the Box Combo. It was my first time there but multiple people have recommended them. I found the chicken a bit underseasoned. Didn't care for the sauce. Fries were just okay and coleslaw was not for me. The Texas toast was delicious, though! The price was right, and I enjoyed the restaurant's setup. The music choices were great (high-energy pop), but the music was pretty loud. I enjoyed it while eating alone but would have had to strain to hear over it.It's not my first choice but I'd eat here again.“
“A luncheonette-style start-up on the tail end of the South Grand strip, Waaberi has a short menu of curries and appetizers. The owner-chef-waitstaff is very friendly and eager to please. We had a curried chicken dish with potatoes and a goat entree. Both were very good. The goat was a bit gristly, but then again, that's goat for you. We had appetizers that I think were called "somposas" -- triangles of meat-filled crust. They were killer, as was the hot sauce that came with them. Highly recommend them. Waaberi is a work in progress, but a great addition to our community and well worth a visit. Or two. Or more.“
“Hidden gem! Despite being hidden in a rather boring strip mall Cowbron truly stands out as a great Mexican restaurant. It's a relatively new spot, and as I mentioned it's pretty unknown, so don't expect to wait long for a table. I personally have eaten here about 5-6 times and have yet to wait for a table on a Thursday or Friday night. Don't be fooled, they are amazing but quite off the map in terms of nearby restaurants, which is how I account for their low wait times. The food is great! The fajitas are large portions, enough for two to split after a couple baskets of chips and queso, and they have THE BEST CARNITAS I have ever had in my entire life. As a former chef I can definitely speak to this as carnitas are a dish that take time and thoughtfulness to be done great, both of which are evident once you've tried the tender meat on offer here. As a regular to Mariachis II and La Catrina I can tell you that this place has earned a spot in my top 3 favorite Mexican joints in the city. Go to Cowbron!“
