“We stopped at the Waffle House on Dorsett Rd. in Maryland Heights this morning on 9/19/23. We had a delicious breakfast & our waitress, Olivia, was outstanding! Best customer service given. This may be our new favorite place instead of a popular breakfast place on hwy 94 in St. Charles, we frequently visit.“

“This is my second time to MeMe’s Cafe and both times have been wonderful! The food is delicious and well priced, the drinks are great, the pastries are phenomenal, our food came out quickly, it’s a nice atmosphere, and the staff couldn’t be better! The owner especially is so friendly! It’s a great spot for a smaller group to go to. I see this becoming a favorite of mine!“

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“We visited Oats & Honey yesterday and my husband and I both agreed we had the best lattes in our life! We had the chicken and waffles and burrito sunrise and it was all so delicious. “Met up with a friend today at one of my favorite brunch spots, First Watch. We went to the one located on Streets of St. Charles. Their fresh food, juices, and eclectic menu makes it so you can always try something new. They have specialties each month, and I suggest you go before the end of February and try their barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl!! Today I had the morning meditation juice and the barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl was a party in my mouth! The braised beef barbacoa mixed with the eggs, beans, and other seasonings. My friend opted for the Italian Inspired omelet. You can put a reservation in online prior to arrival on busy days (like Saturday). The wait was not long this morning, and the food makes the wait worth it. One thing I like about Fresh Watch is the continuity across the chain in that regardless of which restaurant you choose the food is always good and fresh. Great service. Stop in and check them out…try something new!“

“Aug 11 about 9:30 am. What a wonderful brunch spot. It’s between two sections of a shopping center and at a hair raising intersection but the breezeway was perfect on a summer day. Friendly staff, interesting menu, and a quick correction to an erroneously executed special request. We all ordered a different dish but all 5 of us were happy with the presentation and flavor. And no side-eye for lingering. Wish I didn’t live 300 miles away-I’d definitely come back!!!“

“Our waitress was friendly but a bit overworked. The Italian Wedding soup was horrible. No flavor, no Italian sausage and full of barley. The roast beef sandwich was good but had wilted greens on it and we didn’t like that. The ham and cheese sandwich was good. The atmosphere was a bit noisy.“

There are better breakfast places out there. That said, FW is a solid participant in the sit-down breakfast/brunch market and does make pretty consistent food across all of their locations that I've visited with this one being no exception.

Had breakfast with the kid the other day. She ordered the Eggs Benedict which showed up on ciabatta instead of English muffins. I had the fruit crepes with yogurt and granola which are no longer on the menu but can be whipped-up if you ask nicely. I asked nicely as I appreciate the illusion of eating healthily.

For some reason, the food auction followed by the drop & run has become incredibly popular in restaurants like FW these days. Personally, I would prefer that my server deliver our food and pause for a minute to see if there's anything missing or if we have any requests.“

“I took a high school Culinary class here on a field trip and the service was phenomenal. Dana was the best server and so sweet. There was a wide variety of delicious food to choose from and everyone left full and very happy. Will definitely return!“

“we were all from out of town, looking for a good bite. and although its a tad pricey, man, did this deliver! the coffee was delicious, the biscuits were huge.. and delicious. the burritos were hearty and filling.. and idk what seasoning stuff they put on the hashbrowns, but wonderful. I felt like a stuffed big leaving that place, but it was every bit of worth it. if I lived in the area, it would definitely be one of my new go-tos for breakfast. my last thing, im not sure who the man is who was running the counter today, but he was cheesy and joyful, right up my alley! he made a "funny" from my husbands name and I ate it up lol I absolutely love stuff like that so it made my experience all the better.“

“Good, traditional breakfast entrees and a few healthier options. I always enjoy the garden omelette with a side of fruit. Sometimes I get it as a garden burrito instead. Both have generous proportions. The spinach and egg white bagel is tasty. Even during peak breakfast hours we never wait long for a table. The dining room is large (formerly a Chinese Buffet) with extra tables added. The staff is attentive and have a pot of coffee in hand. I appreciate them refilling my teapot with hot water. They are known for conventional breakfast entrees in a shorter amount of time. Perfect for families or larger groups at the tables all with timely service.“

“I have not dined here in over two years because of the previous service. I don’t know if they are under new management or what the case may be, but today’s service was exceptional. “Went in for a late lunch. Ordered the $6. House Scramble with a separate side order of the broccoli. Didn't take too long for my meal to be brought out but my server apparently decided that my side order was going to replace my hash browns even though I accepted that the the broccoli was going to be a surcharge . My initial meal (as pictured in # 1) looked promising, I assumed that they were just going to bring out my hash browns on a different plate. After taking a bite from my broccoli and finding out that it was not even room temperature I decided to wait until I could grab her attention or the other server to discuss my disappointment. After passing by my table over four times with my plate sitting there untouched the other server finally asked me if there was something wrong. I told him in a calm but stern voice that yes there was an issue and quickly pointed out what was missing from my plate. My original server came over and reminded me of my order. At that point I reminded her that I intended to have the broccoli added as a side item and not just a replacement for my hash browns. The male server then took both of plates of food back to the kitchen to finally return ten minutes later with a new batch of the eggs and cheese and the hash browns. As I started to eat the new meal I couldn't ignore the two small knats that started hovering around my plate. The food was as I expected with the replacement meal items as pictured in #2. I could excuse the thoroughness or lack thereof if they were a lot busier but when I noticed them concentrating on their phones at the counter I viewed that as a distraction from their their service.
