Taco Bell Tex-Mex • $
Travel Centers of America #51, 854 MO-80, Matthews

“As a former employee of Taco Bell I will say this is the best job I had ever had. As for the prices being high people must while the tacobell is there it is not run by the tacobell. That taco bell is run by the TA and as for the soggy food ik not sure what to say about it unless other employees aren't heating the tortillas long enough. As for the half menu, once again remember that this tacobell is an express and we will not carry a full tacobell menu. As for the employees that are not seem washed that have quit or been released from work(fired). And for the taco being stuck to the wrapper(common sense here) cheese, we use a high heated steamer to melt cheese in quesdillas so it's to most of the time be expected because cheese can melt through the tortilla, as for the soft tacos the cheese melts on the meat. Now a message to on coming customers, We do not and cannot carry a deep fryer thus making us unable to cook cinnamon twists, cinnamon bon bons, Mexican pizza etc, thus because because is a workspace.“

Subway Sandwich Shop • $
100 Love Industrial Dr, Matthews

“This is my go to (closest) Subway. Even though it is is at a truck stop, it has always provided me with an excellent product quickly...Recently remodeled in late 2020.P.S. if you see a Greyhound style bus parked outside, your wait times will go up, but that is not Subway's fault.P.S.STry the secret sub not on the menu called the Chicken Pizziola! My favorite, but leave some for me!“

“Very friendly staff. Amazing food. Minimum wait times. Tried the Big Kahuna Mike's Way and let me tell you what, it's AMAZING. Amber Evans, the manager, is the kindest person ever and boy does she throw down on that grill. Will definitely be going back soon.“

“This is a small gem of the Sikeston area. We order all of our birthday cakes from them because they are beautiful and taste great. Prices are a touch high but not unreasonable. Every time I go in there to pick up a cake, there is always a small group of older people sitting at the tables having coffee and talking about sports. The other sweets in the displays look very good. Its just a warm feeling place to step into and grab a sweet snack or sit down for a sandwich or soup.“

“Went and tried Taco Johns for the first time and was very impressed. At this location I went through drive through and it was very clean and everything looked like it was kept up from the hedges to the drive through equipment. The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain the different breakfast options to me. Anything I needed clarifying they did without hesitation. The food was great, especially their potato rounds. I'd definitely recommend this place due to the professionalism and speed I was there. Less than 7 minutes total and that includes the explaining and frying fresh potato rounds.“

“I put in pretty hefty value-menu order. I made sure to tell them to take their time because it was a huge order and the drive thru was busy. Additionally i had to ask them to add rice to 4 of the cheese roll ups behind the counter while it was already a bit hectic back there, because you cant add rice to them from the touch menu, they handled it professionally. They were very accommodating. Mid-way through waiting I asked for a glass of water for my disabled dad, who was waiting in the van. I almost forgot that it was time for his meds. The order was around 40 dollars worth of almost exclusively 1 dollar items or less. They handled it in a speedy fashion and got all of it correct, and even brought it out to me while I was helping my disabled dad take his medicine! Great service for sure. I seriously didnt expect that from Sikeston's Taco Bell. They were even more service conscious than the one on Williams in Cape Girardeau (They provide adequate service there too for the record. If you have a bad experience there its only because of the staff being short handed in a very high traffic area.) For the record the cheese roll ups were custom for my mom because, since she doesn't have teeth, eating becomes a chore. She even forgets to eat sometimes so I needed to get her something she would enjoy. Thats the end of my experience review with them, as for the order, here it is in full, list style:10 bean and rice burritos ($1 ea.)2 beefy 2 layer ($2 ea.)2 grilled chicken burritos ($2 ea.)14 Sides of Creamy Jalepeño Sauces (i think (10 or 20 cents each.)1 black bean chalupa ($3 and a half dollars or so)2 Soft Tacos (~1.79 ea.)4 cinnamon Twists ($1 ea.)4 Cheese Roll Ups with rice (The rice is around 50 cents for each one i think, it was rang up after i swipped my card for the touch screen order, for $2.17 which $0.17 seems about right for taxes at 8.5 cents to a doallar). And finally 28 mild hot sauce packets (2 for each burrito to eventually dip in the Creamy Jalapeño sauce sides after applying them to the burritos.“
