“I have a group of small business owners who get together monthly to give each other peer-to-peer advice. We go on an annual planning retreat every November and this year we found Cedar Creek.
What a great place. They were happy to accommodate our small group of 7 and treated us the same as if we were a much larger group. The rooms are nice and clean, our meeting room had everything we need including a big TV on the wall for connecting a laptop.
Group meals were in the Town Hall, which looks like an old saloon. The chefs, the food, the setting - all great. We stayed and played pool after our dinner.
They have a 9 hole par 3 golf course on the property which is free for guests. I played it before heading home. It's rustic but fun.
The buildings go on and on. Lots of individual cabins plus a large main building with sleeping rooms, meeting rooms, workout area with weights, pool table and more. Plus an area with old buildings made up to look like a western town from the old west.
We found lots to like about Cedar Creek but my main takeaway is the staff. They were friendly, helpful and really made us glad we went there this year.“
