“Went for the first time last night. Country Roads was the live music. The crowd loved them. The played a good mix of country and had 2 guest singers. The food was great, I had a bacon cheeseburger and loaded fries. I'll definitely be back.“

I was delicious!.Monica had Pork Chops with Apple Chutney and home fries and enjoyed it.We then got a beer bratwurst...just because. It was also on point!This is a ways to drive from Jefferson City but when St. Louis trips come up this will be a great place to stop.“

“They have the best double cheese burgers and onion rings in Washington. I love the convenience of calling my order in then going through the drive thru 15 minutes later and they have it ready for me when I pull up. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat.“
“We tried The Tilted Skillet for the 1st time the other day at lunch. We ordered the toasted ravioli stuffed crust pizza and buffalo wings and was served right away. I was great and I look forward to going back to try something else on the menu. Highly recommend !“

“Great service! Everyone was so friendly and our waitress was on it. Food was pretty good, nice size portions and reasonable prices. I like the menu, decent amount of options but not overwhelming like some with 1,000 things to choose from ? Franklin's is definitely worth visiting, but go early, they're open 6am - 3pm. They also have lunch specials...fried chicken, frog legs and a couple others!!“

“12 family members visiting Washington, MO dropped in to Joe’s for lunch about 1:30 on a weekday and received excellent service, a delicious lunch, and scrumptious desserts. They let us move tables so we could all sit together and even offered to take our order at the table rather than having all of us come up to the counter to order since we were such a large group. I would certainly recommend the food and I feel we received wonderful service!“
“This is pure Americana.I had the cheeseburger, Italian style. It was a juicy burger while a generous portion of cheese and large sliced pepperoni. Once I took the first bite I could not stop eating this burger. I just needed more of this delicious medley of meat and cheese on my taste buds NOW.Once I finished the burger, it took a minute, the burgers are real burger sized not the shinkflation patties you’ll find at McCorporate, I moved onto the pickle brined fried to order chips. Good grief!Now I’m not a chip guy, my wife asks for chips at the store and I skip ‘em, store bought chips are a waste of time in my book. Now that I’ve had the Snack Shack chips I feel entirely validated. These chips will make you want to burn down a Doritos factory for the disservice they’ve done to what chips are supposed to be. Snack Shack chips highly recommended.I’ve known the guy who IS the snack shack, he runs it, he owns it, and he believes in it. Gabe’s been talking about opening up a burger place almost as long as I’ve known him. “There's many things on the menu I haven't tried but what I have, has been exceptionally good. Price is reasonable considering the locality as apposed to St. Louis menu pricing. Overall I would recommend this establishment for a nice evening out. You won't be disappointed.“
“For me Coltons hits all the marks. Great American style food in a family like atmosphere. I always feel like I am sitting down to a meal at a family reunion. The steaks are delicious and mine was perfectly cooked. This particular time I had mashed potatoes and green beans and they were a perfect compliment to ribeye steak. I highly recommend saving room for desert.“

“The Sunday buffet had some very nice choices. Although our own fault, we came in after work about an hour before the buffet was supposed to close. Therefore, the food was dried out and not much left. But it was still okay. We both still had plenty of delicious food to eat. Next time, if our store is slow for the day, maybe we'll close early enough to get there in time for fresher food.We sat at the bar. The bartender, Cody, I think, was very personable and pours a good drink. He's a very nice young man. I recommend going in to visit him any time.My husband asked him where the desert was that he previously mentioned. He said he didn't know and went back to the kitchen to speak with the chef and find out. A few minutes later, the chef delivered 2 of the biggest pieces of lemon cake I have ever seen in my life to us.Normally, I am not a big fan of Lemon anything, especially cake. But one bite into this thing, and I could NOT stop!!! OMG! That was the best thing to have hit MY taste buds in MANY years!!!Although this place is located within a private golf course/subdivision, the Clubhouse Bar & Grill is open to the public. They also offer outdoor seating on a beautiful huge deck outside in the back overlooking the beautiful golf course when the weather is appropriate. The patio and the main level attire are casual in the warmer months; shorts, T-shirts, shoes, and flip flops are okay.When we were there, they had just finished their pre- grand opening of the upper level. We did not get to see that. We were told it is staged in old vintage style furniture with a completely different atmosphere.We plan to make it back someday very soon to get the entire experience of this unique little secret place strategically stashed away in the foothills of our precious, beautifully, landscapped by God, State of Missouri.It really is quite amazing!“

The building is not marked and may seem foreboding but enter and you'll be pleased with neatly and attractively maintained older school country restaurant and bar. Go hungry. Drinks / Beers are priced as most used to be years back. Go and enjoy. If you are ever going to overeat this may be the place.“
