“Tina and I go to Avanzare Italian Dining every year for our anniversary. This is one day we splurge. The food is amazing. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. It's not necessarily cheap, but it's amazing. How they remember orders without writing them down is a talent I know I couldn't do. Last night, I had the rib-eye steak and green beans with a glass of wine, and oh my goodness, it was amazing. Phillip was our server last night, and he is absolutely amazing. He was so good I tipped him 50% of the bill. My only recommendation to make Avanzare better would be to hire a photographer to come around and take pictures of couples celebrating a special occasion, or a small live orchestra, a one- or two-piece band playing music in the background. We will be back next year, celebrating our 11th anniversary.“

“Right up front, we did come in just a little before closing. So it was to be expected, the service and food would be a little more spotty due to closing down duties. The atmosphere was very quiet, I would say also due to close to an hour before closing. They still treated us with respect and warned us that no new food was being cooked. The portions are huge and everyone is so thrilled when they find out we are doing the Pasta Express taco bar (I’ve used them 4-5x now for a school event lunch). “Terrence was amazing food was amazing Terrence was phenomenal made me feel like family- besides the big family that was there should’ve been removed they had 2 little boys and then I’m was very loud and wouldn’t stop staring at us the little boys were all over the place under the tables one threw a noodle at me then one threw a fork at me stuck in my eye and I had to go to the hospital ended up losing my left eye and my left leg turned into a Lego piece and fell off and the mom and dad did absolutely nothing any way Terrence desserves a 11/10 amazing man would go back if that family. “I used to like coming here but when we got our spaghetti dishes and the pasta texture was coarse and inedible, I was told their pasta is perfect because no one else complained about it. It wasn't the waitress... she was very pleasant... this was the female manager who runs the front of the house who challenged me like that. I didn't argue, just paid our tab and left. That was enough for me to chalk this place off simply because there are better options in Springfield with friendlier managers.“

“We ate at the Olive Garden on west Sunshine and our server was Dontay. I have to say, that was the best service me and my girlfriend have ever had. Between Dontay and Courtney there was great food, lots of laughs and great conversation. We will definitely be going back and will ask to get the same server.“
