“We just moved to Nixa and wanted to try out Marcos because they had great reviews, and everyone we asked said it was the best in town. Due to the word of mouth and the reviews, we had high expectations, and they did not disappoint! The pizza was some of the best we've ever had, and I'm from NY!The manager gave us a discount for it being our first time, which was very personable. He also gave us a giant dessert brownie on the house as a welcome to Nixa.The seating area is nicer than any pizza place I've been and was very clean, as were the bathrooms.We will 100% be returning soon!“
“We love coming to Rocco's in Nixa because they have gluten free crust. We visited today and we were greeted by Sophie(sp?), who was very cheerful and seemed genuinely pleased to wait on us. She took our order, and brought the food out promptly. The pizza was delicious, as expected. We were waiting on Sophie to come back to refill our drink, when we noticed that she was the only server who was taking care of the dining room, and she was waiting in no less than 6 tables by herself. She did a fantastic job making sure that each table was attended to, and never stopped smiling, even threw KNEW that she was very busy. Sophie is a great employee and needs to be well compensated. We ripped her generously, as she certainly deserved it!“
“The BEST birthday dinner experience I’ve ever had. My sister and I had a joint birthday dinner at Retro Metro with a large group of 11. The atmosphere was great and the party room was perfect for a more secluded experience with a group celebrating. The food was insanely delicious and the drinks were amazing! ALL staff were incredible, especially our waitress Maddi. She was PHENOMENAL!Everyone had a variety of food; oysters Rockefeller, calamari, Yocum Auto, onion soup, filet tips, ribeye, etc. Nobody left hungry or disappointed! To end the evening my sister and I were treated to a dessert on the house. Both of us picked the seasonal pie which was a blackberry custard, mouthwatering delicious! Can’t rave enough about the entirety of the experience.“
“This place was amazing! The bruschetta was so tasty that even my Dad ate it, and he is extremely picky about tomatoes. The server was very attentive but gave time between appetizer and dinner so we didn't have it all come at the same time (that is a pet peeve of mine.) He was very knowledgeable about the menu. He even brought out a taste of the goat cheese for my Mom to try as she was deciding which dish she wanted. The food came out hot and perfect. All of the ingredients were so fresh, including the pasta. The lobster was spot on and not rubbery. The desserts were delicious! The whole atmosphere and experience made for a wonderful birthday celebration! My husband and parents all enjoyed their meals and felt like the flavors of their dishes were worth the cost.We cannot wait to go again and will definitely budget to go here more often in the future. “We had my parents' 50th anniversary gathering there and it was really good. This was my first time there, and I have lived in Springfield for almost 20 years. I would definitely go back. The chef came out and made sure everything was being taken care of and even joked around with us.Dietary restrictions: We had family with gluten and dairy restrictions, and they said the food was good also.Wheelchair accessibility: My mom is in a wheelchair and she had no issues getting in or using the restroom.“

“I visited here for the first time. I was super impressed. My waitress was Lelah and she was super. She knew what she was talking about and checked on me, often. The food was amazing. “I love Bellacino's. They have great pizza and their turkey grinder is the best turkey sandwich I've had, bar none. Which, is why I'm surprised it isn't on the menu. “Eating dinner is dining at Salvatore's,and is a real treat. if you like mussels it's a fantastic appetizer, could be a dinner with a little extra pasta.I had a fabulous dish of roast duck with a side of carrot soufle that tasted like pumpkin pie! My husband had drunken scallops over pasta., which he thoroughly enjoyed. If you're lucky and time allows Daniel the owner comes over and asks you if you enjoyed your meal. We sure did! “The food was pretty decent for fast food quailty.However, someone actually delivered food to your table like a waiter in a fancy restaurant and would ask if you wanted the fresh grated parmesan on it till you said it was enough. He also came by asking if you wanted more breadsticks.“
“I want to give a “shout out” to the Olive Garden in Springfield, MO! My husband and I had lunch there and our service was outstanding! Our server, Christine M., was the very best and even my husband, who rarely gives compliments, was totally impressed and now wants to go there whenever we are in the city for lunch or dinner! She was attentive without being gushing, knowledgeable about the menu, gave good suggestions, and even noticed that the “pink” sweetener was low after she noticed that it was my favorite! The atmosphere was great with low music and very relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!“

“Every time we go to Piccolo we know it's going to be a fantastic time. Me personally, I'm not typically a fan of Italian dishes, however Piccolo does it right with (what I believe) is House made Marinara sauce and just enough of it to add to the dish rather than take it over. Their complimentary bread sticks could be my dinner by themselves, I adore those things. Huge fan of the Carni Ravioli and their Salmon is to die for. (Though the portion for the Salmon could be bigger for the price.)“
