“We book Eddie V's for our anniversary every year so it's definitely something we look forward to! We each got an appetizer, entree and one dessert to share, great service and it came out to $280 including tip. A bit pricey but it's my favorite place to eat!“

“My husband and I had the best experience at this restaurant. The food was good as always. During our meal my husband had to use the rest room. He has some dementia and can’t walk very well. Unfortunately we were sitting at a table which was on the complete opposite side of the restaurant from the rest room. The server noticed our dilemma and said she would guide him over to the restroom. She was back immediately. I said, “Oh, he won’t be able to find his way back to this table.” The server told me not to worry about it. The restaurant manager had taken him over and would wait and bring him back. That is undoubtedly the kindest thing that has ever happened to us in a restaurant. Thank you to the wonderful people at the RoanRidge Texas Roadhouse.“

“We've been there three other times. We have had great experiences every time. The wait staff is very professional and attentive. The food is very good. This last time it was for our 44th anniversary. We have only ONE complaint: We miss the piano.“

“We had our Anniversary dinner at KC Chophouse. We had reservations and was seated promptly and on our table was a "Happy Anniversary" card. The service was wonderful. Our server was outstanding. The food was phenomenal!! We had crab cakes, beef tenderloin, and prime rib. Everything was cooked to perfection! We will definitely be going back!!“

Our little waitress seemed to kept forgetting things we asked for. Salad with husband's dinner, lemon with our teas, to go box. And they were still open till 11. Friday night. Sweet pleasant girl but no apologies.“

“It was Easter Sunday just before noon. Our group was 13 adults and 2 children. Our server Lane was AMAZING. So pleasant, friendly, was always checking on us making sure we had everything we needed. Not one glass ran empty and was on top of the refills. All our food was delicious. With our large group on an Easter Sunday we could not ask for someone as professional as Lane. Great job Lane!!!!“

“I celebrated my Birthday here, which has been a family favorite for years, with my daughter. The food was absolutely delicious. They have a bar called "The Ox" which has parts of the original carpet and its scenic paintings. Great service! Best Birthday Ever!“

“We ended up at Hereford House by happy happenstance I was meeting Iowa cousins for dinner. Our server Linda was awesome she was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and options. The roll are so warm, soft and delicious with the honey butter. We got a real variety steak excellent, chicken was tender and chili with skillet cornbread and desserts the incredible carrot cake and warm apple crisp. A truly relaxing wonderful dinner.“

“My husband and I visited Saltgrass tonight, anticipating the normal fantastic food and service. As always, our food was excellent, and our server was phenomenal, however an unpleasant scene we witnessed really left a sour taste in our mouth for the evening. As we were dining we witnessed the General Manager, Vernon Blazek begin yelling at a young lady right in the main dining area. He concluded the scene when he yelled “Go home. Bye!” As a Human Resources professional, I can say that had one of my managers treated a subordinate in that manner, especially in front of our customers, that would have been the first and last time that occurred. When my husband addressed the issue with the manager, he was incredibly rude and dismissive of our concerns, ending our conversation by rolling his eyes, stating “Sorry I ruined your dining experience” and walking off. To say we are incredibly disappointed in tonight’s experience would be an understatement.“

“Your daytime staff is truly exceptional and unique. They are highly proficient, efficient, attentive, and incredibly kind. Zack and Josh consistently go above and beyond, making us feel welcome every time we dine there. Thank you for having such a great team and talented cooks who prepare delicious food every time. “I had an incredible dining experience at Journeys inside Argosy. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was perfect—elegant yet relaxed, with attentive service that made me feel like a VIP.
The steak was cooked to perfection; I had the filet minon with side of lobster, and it was incredibly tender and flavorful. The sides complemented the meal perfectly, and the wine list had some excellent choices. The attention to detail in both the food and the service was top-notch.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and a memorable evening at the casino!“

“Came in for a drink after lunch at Lula's last month. My partner's always recommended this place, and after visiting I can understand why. We sampled the craft cocktail selection while chatting with the bartender, who was very patient and attentive. He told us about the area, his time there, and a few other places for drinks that we've yet to try. The drinks were under 50, tip included.
Parking: The location is right next to a stop on the Kansas City streetcar, so it's way more accessible than the average spot.“

Never thought I would enjoy a meal here. Yet, for our anniversary, my girlfriend surprised me with reservations. I cannot express how absolutely delicious everything was. I do not eat steak and here I was devouring a dish dedicated to someone that we actually know the family (Christian Okoye). I hope to go back again!!!“
