“We moved to the area over 2 years ago and have been trying to find a Chinese restaurant that we like. I thought we had tried them all when my husband stumbled across Taste of China while running an errand. When you walk in to order, they start cooking your food then so it is fresh!! My favorite dish is spicy garlic shrimp and I rarely find someone who makes it to my liking but they do! My husband has ordered multiple dishes and they have all been really good! Highly recommend!!“

“We stopped here after a long day at a wrestling tournament. Our coach being from the area suggested we eat here as a team so a pretty large group of picky eaters arrived to the restaurant and we were met with great food and atmosphere. The restaurant does not have a huge amount of seating but that wasn't an issue for us, because we showed up later in the evening. When in the area I will definitely be returning.“

The family that runs the business is the sweetest and work day in and day out to ensure that they are serving top quality meals at their business. Another nearby restaurant uses red-colored applesauce for their sweet and sour sauce. No thanks. Best Chinese food in Raintree any day!“

“Generous portions for sure! I wanted Chinese food, but something light and ordered Chicken with vegetables and steamed rice. I wasn't disappointed with the food, but the service was lacking! They don't have lemons and I had to get up to get my own drink (water) and to retrieve a to go box myself. The food was exactly what I was looking for though! Very surprised at how reasonably priced the menu is as well!“

“I recently moved out of town. This was my go to when I lived in peculiar. The staff is extremely friendly. To the point they remembered my order. It’s always clean and a nice home feeling very welcoming. The food is ALWAYS fresh and made to order. I promise well worth the wait. I don’t miss my home town…I miss the local China wok.“

“We ordered on the phone 20 min before they closed (I know I know we hate doing this but nothing else was opened!), and they got our order done and bagged in 5 minutes. It was so hot and delicious. We got chicken lo mein, garlic sauce and broccoli with added tofu and some hot and sour soup, everything was great but the hot and sour soup wasn’t quite to my liking but was fine.“

I saw that a friend had eaten there and have been looking for good Chinese food in Lee’s Summit. This is good Chinese food.

I dined in and enjoyed the very hot Crab Rangoon and amazing sweet n sour sauce. It was thick! Loved that it wasn’t runny.

I ordered the Mongolian Pork, extra spicy with pork fried rice. Both were super hot and delicious. Very impressive! Loved the sauce and fresh veggies.

The restaurant is clean and well run. I would totally return.“

“The food was tasty & we were seated quickly. There isn't a huge variety, but since it's in a smaller town that's probably necessary! They did have enough variety that I'm sure anyone can find something they'll love! The fried shrimp are really good!“
