“I’ve been to the independence smoothie king plenty of times and it’s finally time for a review. Smoothies are always great but the main win is the lady that works there, I wish I knew her name. If you’ve been there, you know her. She’s always there. And she is just the best. I’ve never seen her even a little frustrated. She is always happy and her attitude will instantly make your better. “Ok, Smoothie King. Nobody asked for a Ketchup Smoothie and yet you gave it to us anyway. And you know what? It’s the bomb. Every time I go to the Lee’s Summit location I am greeted with friendly staff and know to expect a high quality treat. And the Açaí Cocoa Haze Bowl? Get outta town. That stuff is killer! 10/10 experience as always. Will likely go back tomorrow.“

“I sent my husband there to get me a smoothie so I could drink my veggies instead of eat them. Ever since I’ve been pregnant it’s been hard for me to eat anything except fruit. I thought they closed at 9 turns out on Sundays they close at 8. We both felt terrible but I really wanted it & he was determined. The guy was happy to take his order through the drive through. I’m not saying go there last minute by any means because obviously that’s rude but it was really nice to hear about good customer service. That rarely happens anymore these days. Wish we had his name because he deserves a raise!!“

I also got ice in my juice and I so appreciate that you put the juice that doesn’t fit in the cup due to ice in another small cup so I don’t get shorted juice. The staff working were extremely friendly and made sure my order was correct. The environment and staff is what makes me definitely want to visit this stand more often!“

The dining place is small but if you can get a seat, the vibe is great. There is always a crowd either waiting for coffee or food. Definitely worth the wait.“

I went there today got a Torta Hawaiana there was literally 4 small pieces of meat on one side & for $12 I didnt feel like it was worth what I paid. I went there a week ago and the amount of meat was perfect. I don’t know if they’re getting new cooks or what but today wasn’t it.“
