“We just loved our visit today! Our 1st but definitely not our last! Our food was great and the whole staff was super friendly. Our bellies were full and unfortunately we didn't save room for dessert but now we know better for next time! P.S. if you haven't tried the Hillbilly BBLT....you must!“

“Every time I visit my relatives, we go to this place. The food is consistently good and the people are friendly.Recent meals have included the blackened grouper sandwich with fries and Thai chili wings.Parking: The parking lot is gravel which may make it challenging for wheelchairs or people with walkers.Wheelchair accessibility: As I mentioned, the gravel parking lot may make it more difficult for those using a wheelchair.“

“Our first impression driving up was that we were about to have a unique and memorable experience at The Tavern. The food did not disappoint and the service at our table was excellent. The only criticism I would give is when we walked in we had a few minutes to wait for our table and we felt like we were outsiders at the bar. We were going to get a drink and sit by the fire but it took awhile for the bartender to stop talking to what appeared to be regulars and wait on us. We did finally get drinks and sat down. The other thing that really struck us was how the decor seemed like an afterthought and the items looked like they were picked up at a yard sale for out dated restaurants. I pictured since it is an old rustic cabin it would be decorated with similar decor. Our table wobbled terribly and was very small and the chairs were stained and uncomfortable at the fireplace with a hodgepodge of mismatched cabinets packed in around them. We will probably return for the excellent food sometime but for the price it was not the atmosphere I would have expected.“

“Great food and great people!! Love the brunch on the weekends!! Snickers French Toast is the BEST!! The smothered biscuit is delicious. BLT is to die for. Love the Smithwicks beer. Haven't had anything here that is bad - everything is delicious!!! A Must try and come back spot!!!“

“stewarts is an institution at the lake. traditional diner with everything you'd expect.breakfast is great and reasonably priced. i like that you can get pork tenderloin with breakfast - yum! so tender!had french toast today; came with 2 large tasty, well prepared slices. bacon was crisp and everyone's eggs came how they wanted them.my only "complaint" is that i wish there were a few more vegetable side options. but hey - SMALL thing!we ate there twice on our visit to the lake, for breakfast each time. service and food were both great. very fast and friendly.in an older location but very neat and clean. a definite DO if you are in the area.“

“The food was great. We all had something different - steaks and nightly special menu items, seafood, pizza and appetizers. Very family friendly. The only “complaint” was that we drove 2.5 hours and made a reservation noting we were celebrating a milestone birthday and that was mentioned while we were there. Maybe they don't do anything for such things. Otherwise we would highly recommend this place and the food.“

““Luck of the draw” when we chose this restaurant from the Google reviews. My burger was cooked perfectly - medium. The homemade onion rings were exceptional. My husband had the meatloaf special and it was a huge serving. Almost a pound, I would guess. Homemade mashed potatoes, nicely seasoned green beans. My 90 y/o husband ate the whole meal, leaving only a bit of green beans. The staff is so friendly and helpful. This was one of the best eating experiences we have had. And, don’t let me forget to mention the homemade strawberry rhubarb fried pie. Oh my goodness! The perfect ending to a most delicious meal!Thank you Gina, Joe, all the wait staff and Gina’s son, who turned the fan speed down so I didn’t freeze. We are coming back!!!“

“I really enjoyed my first trip to Papa Chubby’s. Service was terrific ( even with the size of our group). I had the Capone Steak Sandwich which was really tasty. The onion rings were just okay and we also had jalapeño Mac bites for a starter. Again, just okay. I would say the food is very similar to 90% of LOZ lakeside restaurants. I was disappointed they do not serve draft beer but bottled beer only. I prefer draft beer and it seems unusual for an LOZ place to not have draft beer. Relatively easy to find in Crabtree Cove.“

“We visited Stewart's on Easter Sunday for a quick breakfast. Gals were so cute with their bunny ears and the service was fantastic. Food was good. We all enjoyed it. Cute little small town restaurant.Parking: Pulled right up to front door.“

“I always enjoy my Culver's. I specifically look for them when I travel. Almost missed this one. Pulled into McD's and had a last minute thought to check Google Maps. So glad that I did. Found this location, and enjoyed a much better meal.“

“Went for breakfast. It's a lot like a Perkins or Denny's. They do breakfast until 2 or 3pm. Our table ordered French toast, pancakes, hash browns, and sausage gravy and a biscuit. One person got a turkey club sandwich and requested crispy bacon, and they actually did it perfectly (and he ALWAYS complains about the bacon not being crispy enough at other places). Everything we ordered was great, hot, quick, and tasty except for the sausage gravy and biscuit. I think they're using canned gravy and it's pretty gross. Also was the only thing that was served less than hot. But other than that one tiny thing, everything was great. Waitress was super friendly and really attentive. Everyone is friendly here, even if you're out of towners. This is the kind of place where everyone seems to know each other in some way, but they didn't make us feel out of place at all. We will definitely stop here again.“

“Checked out this little gem at MM33. Good dock areas and live music as we were pulling in, what a nice welcoming! Hung out at the tiki bar and had great service. Grabbed a cold one and a few shots of Granma!! Couldn't pass up the goober burger (stuffed w peanut butter), and it was awesome! Bulldog & Staci get a kudos for another great anniversary party! “Went for Bar Bingo. My family had a wonderful time, we had the mushrooms, which were actually sliced Portabellas. Philly with fries.Craig is the caller of Bingo numbers. He has a great personality and is very funny.We plan to make it a weekly outing.Servers are great also. Thank you Scuttlebutt.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants around the lake area. The staff is always friendly and knows my drink of choice. I love to take my family there and just relax. The owners are great people and you need to go there and meet them. They will treat you like family. The broasted chicken is phenomenal. I also recommend the smoked meatloaf and the brisket French dip sandwich. Honestly, everything is fantastic on the menu.“

“Recommended to us by an associate manager at Margaritaville, this restaurant was amazing.This restaurant by the lake has gorgeous views and a peaceful atmosphere that adds to the unique dining experience of the Ozarks. The homemade chips, friendly service, and mouthwatering food just made it even better.I highly recommend their Ooey Gooey Butter cake. We took that to go and savored every bite. This was well worth the price and the stop.Make reservations beforehand, though, so that they will for sure be able to fit you in.“

I have seen him help the staff multiple times, whether it be letting them use a checkbook if they lost theirs, to help with food when they seem stressed. “We (8 of us) stayed on-site at Margaritaville for a night. We ended up eating here twice--once for dinner and once for breakfast. The kids were on campus at the indoor water park, so we ordered dinner for takeout. I wish I would have taken a picture of the island grilled chicken that I had. It was delicious. I was honestly expecting one measly little piece of chicken and what I got was two pieces of nice sized chicken. The salsa was incredibly flavorful. We were all surprised at the portion sizes!Then, for breakfast, my husband and I snuck away to get a bite to eat. We ate down in the restaurant. Now, understand, we are here in December. We got seated right away and there weren't too many people in the restaurant at 8 am. There are lots of tables and different levels in the restaurant itself (so lots of stairs). We got a nice sized glass of water. Service was pretty good! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and helpful. We were never once pressured into the buffet, although it was an option for $18.99 a person.We opted for the menu and got our food within 15 minutes. I should have also taken a picture of the menu, but the prices were reasonable ($10-16) for the entrees. Overall, we were pleased!“

It really wasn't a bad review just made some comments the owners must really taken offense to,because now I can't pull them up on Facebook or go to their site on Google. Little hidden gem tucked away at Margaritaville Lake Resort. Whether it's for business or a nice dinner for two - it's just perfect.“

“Okay so I'm a vegetarian. Ordered mushroom burger without the meat. Food cake and I got a hamburger bun with the smallest freaking portabello mushroom (singular) ever. No lettuce. No tomato. Tator tots were good. $17 for a bun with a sad slice of mushroom.“

“I really like this place! I've only been twice but I'll be back for sure. I went for the karaoke contest. There was so much good talent and it was fun. Kyle is a great DJ. The waitresses were great and the people and atmosphere were awesome! If you get a chance I recommend you stop in and check it out, you won't be disappointed!!“

“This place reminds me what the lake restaurants used to be! A good laid back atmosphere with good service and no douche bags! Now let’s get started with the drinks… YOU WOULDN’T BELIZE IT, fresh pressed drinks and a bunch of their own take on other classics that are mostly nautical themed. Had an appetizer that was also good. The loaded buffalo fries were also great to share with a few friends. They weren’t gourmet by any means but this isn’t a gourmet place. The only thing to make them better is having chicken hand breaded but I am not complaining. Ample amount of chicken and sauce with the fries as well. Definitely a place to check out.“
