“Custard is fabulous! LOVE LOVE LOVE the key lime pie! Employees are wonderful and are very professional when dealing with difficult customers. Always busy when I stop by!Kid-friendliness: Great option for kid snack/dessert/treat!”
“Hands down the BEST Subway I have ever been to....! The food not only was delicious it looked better than the pictures they post on commercials...! 100% will be coming back...!”
“Everything from ordering to a very fast delivery and yummy pizza was on point..Wish I would have gotten the name of the delivery guy..He was so warm... friendly and full of smiles..Very nice experience all around”
“Excellent dinner. Easy to make reservation. Service was excellent, friendly and prompt, great flow/ timing of presenting food. The food itself was excellent! My only wish is that hot sake was an option.Dietary restrictions: Did very well with gluten and dairy free options. Staff was knowledgeable on allergies and appropriate menu items.”
“This has been the most exceptional dining experience in a very long time. Me & my friend came in for a quick bite. We were greeted immediately & told to hang on a sec & it was literally a second. Mike the waiter was very attentive & took care to our almost every need. Chef’s kiss to Yellowbellly!”
“"From the moment I stepped into The Crossing in Clayton, I knew I was in for a remarkable dining experience. The exceptional service began with Sunny, who skillfully handled my reservation, and continued with David's warm welcome at the door. My server, Joshua, was simply outstanding, ensuring that my visit was nothing short of perfect. What truly set this experience apart was the meticulous attention to dietary restrictions for both me and my guests. It's rare to find a restaurant that genuinely cares and accommodates with such grace. The meal was unforgettable, leaving me talking about it for weeks. But the cherry on top was a chance encounter with Joseph on the sidewalk days later. His genuine follow-up about my experience showcased a level of care and knowledge that is unparalleled in the industry. The Crossing in Clayton is not just a restaurant; it's an experience where the staff goes above and beyond, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking culinary excellence and exceptional service."”
“Louie was amazing!! The food and service were the best part! Our waitress Emma went above and beyond!! She took the time to explain the dishes and be super personable!! Ask for Emma, she’s the best!!!”
“This restaurant is very clean, and the service is wonderful. I recommend the Chicken Tikka Kabob. The meat is so tender that it melts in your mouth, and the flavor is amazing. It comes with a side of salad and rice. The rice is so fragrant and delicious. The salad is fresh. The samosas are good too. You get two per order, and the green chutney on the side is yummy. They do make their baklava in house.”
“My husband and I went to Acero last week and tried the Chef's Tasting Menu. It was an incredible experience, and I easily and confidently say that Acero is the best Italian restaurant in St. Louis. Our server was very kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was also very nice. We loved everything we tried, from the Pesce Crudo and Gnocco Fritto to the Egg Raviolo, Chicken Milanese, Sea Scallops, and desserts. They were all exceptionally delicious. Acero also has a great wine selection. I can't wait to go back!”
“Worth the wait in lin. 1st time going here, got the classic Italian. Great sandwich! Great bread, I got the cheese garlic. Definitely will be back for lunch. Too bad you guys close at , I want more sandwiches take home for dinner after work. ?”
“In town from Indiana for the 3 day weekend. My GF has never been to Ted Drewes and I told her it was a priority for our visit. Pulled up on Sat night before Easter and the crowd was huge. Thought initially it wasn't going to work out but thought we'd park and try anyway. Surprisingly, the crowd was mostly just people socializing and the lines weren't long at all. We got a couple of sundaes and enjoyed the unseasonable warm weather and had a great time. Delicious, as usual, and so fun. We had a great time, and I'd recommend everyone come here when they're in St Louis. If we lived here, we'd be regular customers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”
“We frequent Teleo Coffee with our family after moving to St. Louis. As a European, in my first months living in the US, I visited so many coffee shops where I could feel the cozy atmosphere and smooth, delicious coffee like in my homeland, and I found it here. This place has become like a second home to me, especially thanks to the friendly baristas and owner of the establishment. This is the very moment when you come to this cute house with a huge bright veranda and they greet you and call you by name. They also participate in donations, helping different organizations during certain periods with a small percentage of drink sales, which is amazing!P.S. Barista Sarah recommended the Lavender Vanilla Latte to me on one of my first visits, and I've been kind of addicted to this latte ever since. Highly recommend. Thank you, Sarah!”
“I can’t say enough good things about this place.I’ve been vegan 21 years & most restaurants that serve vegan give you small portions. Not TT. This place gives you a hearty serving. I actually feel like I got my moneys worth here. The food isn’t greasy/oily, you could eat a huge burrito and feel satisfied without feeling heavy. The prices are excellent. The staff, service time, music & atmosphere are the bees knees. I visit ST Louis a few times a year & I will be back every visit.Seriously, the best vegan restaurant”
“Such a wonderful dining experience. Very elegant and stunning restaurant. The food was amazing. The lamb chops were so tender, I thought I was eating a filet mignon. So juicy. Definitely worth the experience.”
“This is my first time visiting this absolutely beautiful restaurant! I was pleasantly welcomed by the owner and shown to my table. The ambiance is beautiful & traditional Syrian/Mediterranean which immediately takes you away from where you are. The service was excellent. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious! I had the stuffed grape leaves, a light traditional soup, and the beef dish served with a light yogurt & vegetables. If you haven't tried this wonderful establishment, you must give it a try! Very unique and a well needed addition to this little cove of Creve Couer! I will definitely be returning often & bringing others!!”
“This place is fantastic. The chicken dumplings are out of this world. We liked the beef better than the pork & didn’t try the shrimp. The chicken ones are just so good. The cucumber salad is okay. The sauce is a bit strong, but it’s still good. The broccoli IS served cold so beware! The spicy wontons were alrightttt but honestly the dumplings are so damn good you can’t beat it. MUCH better than soup dumplings STL in my opinion and WAYYY faster service. 10/10 experience. Love this place. Haven’t tried the boba or smoothies (yet!) but if they’re anything like the dumplings, I’m sure they’re great too. Definitely check this place out for soup dumplings.”
“This was literally hands down the best cup of coffee I’ve ever gotten from any coffee shop!! The coffee was so amazing I had to but 3 bags to take back to Chicago!!”
“A little out of the way on the loop, which can be nice if you want a bite without yelling to talk with who you’re with. Street tacos were great, absolutely recommend. A little pricier, but you can tell they use quality ingredients.”
“We were excited to try the Tavern tonight for the first time. We were a bit underwhelmed. I only got 3 scallops for a $45 entree (even Disney will give you 4 for the same price). Additionally, the fries and baked cookie had a burnt aftertaste from the oven. For $150, we thought it was significantly overpriced for what we got.”
“i def expected way more based off the pics, but the sandwich i had (zelie, which was like cinnamon ice cream) was post basic too me & was pricey. almost $10 for a ”
“The atmosphere was nice. You place your order and find a place to land until they find you order number marker. The food was… ok. I didn’t like how soggy my bun had gotten but if that’s your thing, then the bun is flavor-filled.”
“The food was overall good but not great or life changing. We are big fans of Vicia and were hoping for the same complexity of flavors but did not find it in all the dishes here - only some of them.We ordered:Gougeres - cheese fondue and popovers. Fondue was good but the popovers were kind of doughy and dense.Beef tartare - fine, not great - the tartare was a bit flavorless and flat despite being served with a jusFrench onion soup - good! No complaints.Mussels - the star of the show, 5/5, some of the best mussels I’ve hadPain perdu - a carmelized dessert with toasted brioche and Clementine’s ice cream that was delicious.Special shout out to the mocktail Papillon. I don’t like when mocktails are just fruit juice but this one really had the complexity and slight bitterness of a cocktail.Overall we would come back but there are flavor profiles of some dishes that could be elevated to make this a 5/5 meal.”
“Recently, I tried Spiro's Restaurant for the first time, and it was a pleasant surprise. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. I decided to try their lamb gyro, and I was not disappointed. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the tzatziki sauce added the perfect touch. The portion size was generous, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience that I would definitely recommend to others looking for delicious Greek cuisine in the area.”
“Have been here many times, never disappoints. Recently tried the French toast, which was delicious! Waiter dissappear for quite a while and had to ask someone else to get us the check but other than that, no complaints.”
“This is absolutely our favorite place for breakfast. The fresh bags are incredible and the gooey butter is out of this world. On a nice day we love sitting in their outside area. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic St Louis dining experience.”
“Delicious curry sauce, fresh rice, and freshly fried katsu, always the best for a quick meal and a great deal for your dollar. Despite not having the event, Katsuya was very nice and amazing to help plan catering to an event. If you're looking for large catering options for a great price, please stop by and ask, they're amazing!”
“Food was YUM, service was friendly, and the space and location is so cute. In the heart of the hill, a must-go-to place for a hot or cold Italian sandwich that tastes authentic and made with love. The Grace was my fav! With Italian sausage, pepperoni, cheese and red sauce.”
“absolutely loved everything about this place! the food was delicious and came out fast for a busy friday afternoon. the (i’m assuming) owner was extremely attentive to all the customers and his staff was very friendly! i will be back to try the other items on the menu :)”
“Ok so this was my first time here, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. Very cozy and welcoming. There is also an outside patio for dining, which is also super sexy. I opted to sit at the bar and order my meal. It was a nice cozy spot in the corner by the front door. A waiter suggested it when I walked in. I don't remember his name, but he is awesome because it was absolutely perfect. I was waited on by a super sexy bartender named Abby. Very welcoming and sharp. She was on the job.Moving on, I ordered the 14oz New York strip, seafood pasta, and the calamari. The calamari was the best I've EVER HAD. You have to try it. There are no small stingy pieces. All thick juicy cuts and battered to perfection. My steak was just "OK." I expected more from this place, but it just wasn't there. I grill a pretty damn good steak myself, so I'm hard on restaurants when it comes to steak. The pasta was also just "ok." The pasta noodles were overcooked, so it had that gooey sticky feel, and the sauce it was cooked in obviously wasn't made with high quality, rich ingredients. In closing, this is a classy, laid-back place. Perfect to bring a date. The service is sufficient and friendly. The food that I ordered in particular left me wanting and expecting more. Quality ingredients are a must when ppl can spend $130+ $30 tip for a meal, and that's just 1 person! The portion with the steak could've been better for that kind of money, for sure. Many restaurants post pandemic have taken shortcuts on quality ingredients and good portion sizes. Ppl don't mind paying for good food, and you actually feed them. It's so bad that it has kept me from going to higher class restaurants altogether because there is simply no value anymore.Parking: They have a couple of small parking lots. However, if you co.e when they're busy, you may have to part on the street.”
“Chuck’s Hot Chicken is the bomb! It’s a great selection of chicken with the most delicious spices you can imagine. The spice is no joke though. I could only handle a 3! Best hot chicken in ”
