It was literally my destiny to be served by Destiny.
From the moment she came over, the vibes were right. Friendly, attentive, and effortlessly on top of everything. Drinks never went empty, food came out perfect, and she handled a busy night like a total pro without ever making it feel rushed.
What really made the experience stand out was her energy—warm, genuine, and fun in a way that makes you feel like you picked the right place to be. You can tell she actually cares about her guests, and that makes all the difference.
Hotshots is already a great spot, but Destiny absolutely elevated the night. We’ll definitely be back—and if fate has anything to say about it, Destiny will be our server again 🍻✨“

“Walking down Main St on a beautiful evening and the patio caught our eye. The "dungeon" basement is cool and the bartender was really sweet. Having a fire when it got a bit chilly was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be recommending to friends and coming back for dinner soon.“

“We went to Syberg's yesterday ... always our spot to meet up with our son and his girlfriend. Service was great, food was delicious..... and the lobster mac was AMAZING! Full of chunks of lobster! Syberg's on Dorsett is one of our favorites! We drive almost two hours to eat there 🙂“

“I recommend them but you guys missed the boat on St. Patrick’s Day plates. Mashed potatoes and vegetable medley for $17. Corned Beef. Boiled potatoes and cabbage that is all you need to serve. And the corned beef was cut so thin.“

“Thanks to Maranda and company for a really good lunch! The cheese cubes melt in your mouth and we enjoyed the little bit of heat in the marinara. The French dip was my favorite! but my friends would argue the Philly cheesesteak was better! So I guess no matter what you choose you can’t go wrong. We will be back!!“

“I have not noticed racial tensions there. (Any more than you might find anywhere in the StL)....There is a woman that frequents the bar who has color and appears to be well regarded. It IS a North side divey joint. They don't serve any food now outside of bar room pizza...But drink and beer prices are good and if you stay away from controversial conversation you'll get along with everyone in there. Which is probably true for let's say 75% of the corner bars in St. Louis.“

“This is my 4th visit to the Lakehouse. Each time, I've sat outside because I love people watching. I've had the cod fish sandwich with fries and slaw, the blt, the wedge salad, and the burger. All delicious! The servers are always awesome, and I love that dogs are welcome on the patio! Many show up with their owners from the trail. This is a great place to visit!“
