“We have always enjoyed our dining experience at Roberto’s. The food is great, service is great and the atmosphere is great. HOWEVER, they need to improve in two areas. Every time I have asked for a little horseradish. They don’t have any. So next time, I’ll bring my own. The other is the amount of sour crème provided with your huge potato is inadequate. I asked for a little more and they charged me an additional fifty cents! I can’t believe that I’m paying $240 for a meal and they want to ding me fifty cents for a dollop of sour crème. How petty.”

“Good Italian style sandwich shop. They don’t make them like this much anymore. I ordered two sandwiches (enough to feed 2-3 people) both were good with no complaints. Not my all time favorite sandwich shop, BUT not to dang bad guys! Hands down better than any chain places in both quality and value. Tasty bread too. Which is a must for a good sandwich. I will definitely be back, while Zanti’s won’t replace my favorite sandwich shop that’s near and dear to my heart, this will be definitely be my replacement for Jimmy John’s and jersey mikes for sure! I suggest everyone make the switch if considering.”

“Best Bread I have ever had, and I have been chasing down good bread for 50 years. I have had six different breads, all great. But the trading pane and the sesame are my favorites. Splurge for the tempered butter, it is worth it. Fantastic salads and soups, too. And the smoked beets are to die for!! Worth it to go just for that.”

“The cookies at Crumbl are absolutely delicious. I have never been disappointed by them. I've never had a more perfect cookie and they're well worth the price. The only thing you should avoid is the cookie happy hour. I'd rather pay full price than deal with the madness. Unfortunately, the customer service also goes down the toilet during this time. I've always had pleasant experiences with Crumbl when it wasn't happy hour. I'm sure the staff feels the pressure from the crowd wanting their sweets.

“Haven't been back to St. Louis for awhile and knew we needed to go to The Crossing for dinner. Jim Fiala and his team hits it out of the park in every way. 3 courses paired with wine and each spot on. Last time there we brought our own wine as it was a special bottle. No problem as long as it wasn't on their list and the wine cellar is extensive. If you want an extraordinary dining experience please go.”

The only complaint is I can’t have them on Sunday! :( We’ve tried to go back to other sandwich shops on a Sunday and it never compares to Gioia’s. You’ve raised the bar so much, now everyone else is a disappointment.”
