“we were traveling through looking for a lunch place, and decided to stop here because they had large enough parking for big rigs.Service was great. Food was talking kind of long to come out and then when we got it we knew why... everything was FRESH. Fresh hand pattied, hamburgers, fresh fried okra, etc. and the portions were HUGE and the process were great too. A couple next to us got the taco salad special of the day and they were the size bowling balls . Everything was delicious. This place is a gem.Parking: It's a large gravel lot and we had room to park our big rig. We did come during not super busy time so your mileage may vary.“

“After a tough day, Hubs and I decided to take a drive and somehow ended up at one of our favorite places to eat in Cape—Broussard’s. We were seated in our favorite spot upstairs where we could see the river, boats and even a train. Candie was our server and she was just amazing, making great recommendations and keeping our glasses full. The food was perfectly prepared, as it always is, and despite the difficult day, we felt much better after our visit to Broussard’s.“

“When driving to Cape I always check to see if open, good place to run in and get some fish nuggets. Sometimes I come to late and everything gone, but when I can get some fish - it is always mouth watering good. No not a fancy restaurant, just a little road-stop eatery. An added bonus sometimes there is an older gentleman across the parking lot selling some cookies - well worth shelling out a few extra pennies.“

“My husband and I came in and both got the all-you-can-eat crab legs. The owner, Mike, was cooking and oh my goodness was it good!! Great flavor! And the food just kept coming! The shrimp was delicious, as was the crab rangoon! The crab legs weren’t soggy - and that’s a big one for me. Mike’s energy was just so positive and great and made the whole experience even better. My husband and I definitely recommend this place!“

She was very informative and helpful with the drink and food menus. The portions are heartier then you would think. Every bit of the food was amazing. I was not disappointed, I hope you won't be. You should try it out. I know you'll love it too.“
