“Finally a place that serves hot, fresh BBQ! We’ve tried most of the BBQ places between Sedalia and Warsaw and have been disappointed with dry, reheated meat sold at premium prices. One place even tried to pass off fried potato peels for French fries (not even kidding, they were very thin potato peels, I can only assume from potatoes peeled for the potato salad). We swore off BBQ completely after that. Last night, on the spur of the moment, we stopped at Mallards truck and picked up a pound of brisket and a pound of pulled pork along with a couple of sides. I was very happily surprised to find that it was fresh and very juicy and fed 4 adults amply. If you’ve been disappointed with the quality of BBQ in the area, definitely go find the Mallards truck, it’s worth the drive and you’ll be glad you did.”

“If you find yourself in the Sedlia area, this is must stop! Entering the resturant, I was immediately comforted by a family vibe that made me right at home. We were seated very quickly and were able to get a table in the old train car they have attached to the restaurant! It was such a cool experience to have dinner in the train car and the food was amazing! (Make sure to try the catfish! Some of the best I've had in a long time!)”

“The birria has always been a favorite and their carne asada is outstanding. We love their handmade tortillas and the margaritas are very good. generous servings. Caitlin was our server this time. She recommended the quesobirrias. They were awesome...juicy, well seasoned. We have eaten at El Tapatio for years and they never didappoint.”

“If your hungry they will feed you. I volunteer on the weekends and I can assure you it is clean. We sweep mop wipe tables and chairs down with bleach water. The dishes are hand washed minced and sanitized with bleach water. Amanda is amazing she does the cooking and runs the place. A prayer is said before meals. And she tries to make sure everyone is taken care of.”

“Heads up if you don't know the area, look for "Morelos Taqueria" signs instead of "Taqueria la Michoacana." We're from out of town and almost drove past the small shop, looking for the latter. The tacos are delicious, don't miss it!

“I have loved this place ever since they opened two decades ago. My sister and I used to come in and eat here when they had ice cream options as well. A few selections have changed over the years, but the gyro still remains amazing. Any time I have friends visiting Sedalia I recommend this place. “Well Balancef Table, LLC catered my husband's visitation dinner. The meal started with one of his fun foods and she built from there. It was for 125 people. Everyone had all they wanted and we still had leftovers. Everything was great- from great tasting, easy to communicate to Excellent service. I could not have asked for one thing more from Afton. She and her food were a blessing.”

“went to Freddy's tonight with my friend and we loved our burgers and fries but when it came to dessert it was a little disappointing. her turtle sunday had barely any custard, if any it was maybe 4 little spoon fulls. it was almost melted when we sat down to eat it. i got the PBC&C concrete and added strawberries. it was extremely runny more runny than a milkshake and i had maybe 2 chunks of bannanas and was over powered by stawberries. if we are paying almost $5 each (due to add ons) id hope for 1. more custard and 2. for the concrete to be more solid and not so runny/warm.”

“Terrific chicken and chicken livers.

The livers are very flavorful and came out hot. We mistakenly got the wrong gravy to dip the livers in, and an employee ran out the door and let us know of the error. He said we could keep the gravy we got and assured us he’d bring the right gravy out. He did just that. Great service by caring employees.

This was our second visit, we don’t live in the state. We drove ~45 minutes one way just to get Champs Chicken, we liked it that much the first time. Champs Chicken didn’t disappoint us either visit.”

“We had it delivered so I can't comment on service or atmosphere. The sauce tasted a little different, almost like it's straight out of the can. They used to mix the sauce every day. 6 cans of tomatoes to 1 bag of seasonings and herbs. But other than that it was okay, especially the cheese bread.”

“I've been coming to this dairy queen for over 15 years. The employees have always been great and very accommodating.
I absolutely love the diversity of foods, sauces, and sweets. The inside is always clean. And you don't have long to wait for your food.
I'd come here way more often if the onions on the burger weren't so huge and ridiculous, like come on every time. I'm a burger person. And I love dairy queen burgers, but the onion slice that you guys put on is ridiculous the cut the size. It's just as bad as burger King when they add onion.
Maybe it's whoever is cutting the onions at lunchtime??? Literally the only flaw with this establiment.
Their kids' meal deal after 4 pm on Fridays and Saturdays is a great deal. And now they have it for mondays.”

“Edit: the manager took the steak off the bill. Ordered medium rare. $21.99 for this. This over cooked, I would expect some serious crust but there wasn’t at all. Thick gray band. They are very inconsistent with grilling steaks.”

Just ordered to go cajun fries zucchini and gumbo, this place used to be really good and fresh food, now it's pasty trash, zucchini wasn't even crispy fries weren't crispy or no flavor with either, Dumbo was edible that's about it. I suggest picking up the pace and getting back to better quality foods and give the people what you say you are offering, get a better cook.

As soon as I walk in The door, there's this 1 Young guy that remembers me and knows that I want a table and The waitresses all know me and they're very sweet and I always eat inside and the food is delicious. I'm very happy that Sedalia has a Steak and shake now. 😋❤”
