My husband and I celebrated our 43rd Anniversary at Char last night. Everything was wonderful, in my opinion!! My steak was cooked as requested since I'm on a low sodium diet. The Char salad was so much better than I expected! Our server, Justin, did over and beyond to make our dinner a great time.
I’m extremely disappointed of how this restaurant has went downhill! It started last year! This used to be my favorite restaurant, but with the new cooks this place is nothing like it was before expensive and not satisfying! I figured I would come back and try again on Friday and welp waste of money once again. The last time we went the day after Valentine’s Day. And we spent $800. It was very discouraging. First time going to char was last night for Valentine’s Day. I’m sadly it was so underwhelming.
Our appetizers were cold, my boyfriend’s glass was dirty and when this was told to the waiter he said, “oh want to come back to the kitchen and fight someone?” (Nope just a new clean glass would be nice.)
