“We love Sugar & Slice! We have used them for birthday cakes in the past and we knew they would be best for our wedding cake. We just got married this past weekend in May and they did a fantastic job using our reference to build our cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. The texture was still soft and full of flavor. We can't recommend them enough. They also did an amazing spread of cookies and cinnamon rolls. “I drove 30 minutes to be able to try the Venezuelan sweets and savory food. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! The bread that was used for the food is very soft and tastes fresh. You can really tell that the food is made with a lot of care. Some of my personal favorites are the cachitos filled with ham and bacon and turkey and cream cheese. “Moving my reviews off Yelp. This one was originally published in 2016 but I was back multiple times. Great place!

I had never heard of this place before a yelp friend suggested we go there for lunch. Now that I know about them, I will certainly be back. In fact, I've already decided which of my customers will be my next lunch invite to the place.

I had a soup & sandwich combo. I was expecting a smaller portion of each that would add up to a whole meal. What I got was more like a whole sandwich and a bowl of soup with a fresh pretzel breadstick. Probably a meal and a half.

Everything was delicious! The au jus that came with their interpretation of a French dip was beefy without being overly salty. The bread was soft with a nice bit of chewiness. The beef was not the star of the sandwich and that was a little bit of a letdown. The high point though was the cheese. French dip is generally a very tasty sandwich but everything is better with brie! I also had their roasted red pepper soup. I probably should have consumed it first but I got really excited by the sandwich and that plan went right out the window. I did finish my soup and I enjoyed the salty, chewy breadstick very much. I ate more than I had planned to eat for lunch but everything was just so good!

A few quick observations:

* They seem to develop a line to the door at lunch. Go early, go late or plan to wait.
* Don't do the soup & sandwich unless you're really hungry.
* They have small brownies for a buck or so. I'm trying to avoid eating dessert with lunch these days but they were awfully tempting.“

But It is courtesy of the owner and taste of the food that stands out. Pita + really reminded the place that you find during travels in the new city that only locals know. So locals or guest of the city - I recommend trying food here.“

“This establishment is fantastic. Not only is the food delish ( corned beef, egg salad and bagels favs) but the customer service is top notch! Ben, Kaylee, Alyssa, Gail, Audrey, Jerry, Mauro, Caleb, Jared. The employees- their customer service is truly the best around. They go out of their way to make us smile. These days it is almost impossible to find a restaurant where everybody is lovely and accommodating. Thank You Leftys for the great food and outstanding customer service. 😁“

“While I've had trouble with stocking here on occasion, things are usually pretty good. The real reason for the 5 stars is an incident that happened last week.

I observed a man unconscious in their parking lot. I reported it to their security officer, and he immediately came outside with me to check on the man. Their officer called 911 while I medically assessed the man (I have law enforcement training to do so), and first responders were able to arrive on scene promptly and likely save this man's life.

Many places employ security that wouldn't have even bothered to assist, but their officer was excellent.“
