“Walking down Main St on a beautiful evening and the patio caught our eye. The "dungeon" basement is cool and the bartender was really sweet. Having a fire when it got a bit chilly was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be recommending to friends and coming back for dinner soon.“

“I would like to thank Hobos at the Legion for furnishing the Christmas dinner at Church Street Village Senior Apartments. The food was fantastic! We can’t thank you enough for the meal and you have made some new die-hard friends! You are the BEST! Did I mention the delicious dinner? “We moved in across the street and heard good things about the place. They’re often busy and it always smells amazing so we grabbed a couple burgers for lunch today. The pine room burger and the patty melt were both 10/10. We will definitely be visiting more often!“

“I recommend them but you guys missed the boat on St. Patrick’s Day plates. Mashed potatoes and vegetable medley for $17. Corned Beef. Boiled potatoes and cabbage that is all you need to serve. And the corned beef was cut so thin.“

“We went to Syberg's yesterday ... always our spot to meet up with our son and his girlfriend. Service was great, food was delicious..... and the lobster mac was AMAZING! Full of chunks of lobster! Syberg's on Dorsett is one of our favorites! We drive almost two hours to eat there 🙂“

“I have not noticed racial tensions there. (Any more than you might find anywhere in the StL)....There is a woman that frequents the bar who has color and appears to be well regarded. It IS a North side divey joint. They don't serve any food now outside of bar room pizza...But drink and beer prices are good and if you stay away from controversial conversation you'll get along with everyone in there. Which is probably true for let's say 75% of the corner bars in St. Louis.“

“Outstanding service, great food. Be patient tho it's a small kitchen and large groups can slow them down. So enjoy your time and don't expect to be in and out in a busy day. But other than that this is a great spot for the lake and stays busy.“

“Nice little joint off the strip in St Charles. We stopped on for a quick bite and received excellent service! The drinks were so good and the food was great quality. We were thinking it would level with bar food but it definitely exceeded our expectations. If you have not been do not sleep on this spot“

“$2 Tuesday's makes this the place to be. Can't beat that. I love the wings and fries. Perfect bar food. Make sure you get the wings with lemon pepper seasoning. Music is good. A nice place to go chill in the evenings for a quick drink & bite. Sometimes a DJ. Safe area. Nice patio too. Hope it jumps for summer. Some improvements could be done like bigger TVs w more sports. This place should consider having a Sunday jazz brunch or even a Saturday chill beats brunch so they can make a more diverse crowd see them as an option. See ya next Tuesday!

“Food was good, they didn't have our pre order for our party so we had to wait, our 1st waitress was nowhere to be seen, our 2nd waitress...outstanding, atmosphere was good u till the drunk guy smashed his cup on the floor and glass went flying everywhere, aaaaand they let him stay, not sure how that was acceptable for any establishment.“

“I loved it! This past Saturday was my 1st time going. The service was wonderful!!! The atmosphere was relaxing and fun.....good music, good smoking on the patio,...but the only thing was my food (Fried Shrimp Basket) was extremely salty....I didn't want to complain since I waited so long after I ordered, so I just ate them....but they were not good.
When our waitress came over I did inform her about the taste of the Shrimp and why I didn't say anything earlier on.....and she was kind enough to offer me a comp for the Shrimp. Also I got a Margarita and my friend got a Tequila Sunrise. The drinks were a bit too juicy & sweet and we couldn't hardly taste any alcohol in them. However, we didn't complain...we drank them.
After we paid for food and cashed out...we went outside on the patio and vibed out the rest of time we were there.
I will return again because I enjoyed myself and I'm also willing to give the food and drinks another try as well. Hopefully my next visit....will be an even better experience ????“

“Part of me loved this place, part of me felt like I needed my G17. Maybe it was the vibe or maybe the smell of cigarettes everywhere.
Great service, food. Pool tables. TVs. Solid bar. Tons of drinks.
Dive bar...Def! Would I go back...maybe. Give it a chance, order some wings, play some pool and watch a game...“

“Its located in the hotel we were staying in( Doubletree ) we got breakfast from here, and were very impressed. They have Turkey for a pork substitute Inwhich that gives them 2 stars of the bat without even tasting a forkful in my book. I want to come back and get a Burger from here, looks good and well put together“

“I ***LOVE*** Brick House! It's nice, but not obnoxiously expensive. The service might just be the best in STL, and I've never had a bad plate here. I've had almost everything on the menu, and there don't seem to he any bad choices.
It's super cozy, too, which is one of my favorite aspects of Brick House. Low-Light, Fire Going, Friendly People.
If you EVER have a hard time deciding where to go for dinner, Brick House is IT!“
