“Food as usual did not disappoint, however this was the first time we had Dave as a server, and the services was subpar for what we are used to at Kreis" Steakhouse. Maybe it was just a bad not, but it was continuous throughout the evening, as well as waiting on our check for 15 minutes before having to ask for it.“

“Had Chris’ birthday dinner at Stoney River Steakhouse. As our server Tate was amazing! The steaks were tender enough to cut with a fork and the carrot cake for Chris was exceptional! Tate made the birthday experience for Chris extra special… and he made sure to keep my Long Island properly filled and made sure my chocolate cake had the proper amount of ganache! Great birthday dinner! Excellent food. AMAZING service!“

“Celebrated our grandson's 11th birthday at Bugatti's. Sarah (I believe I'm correct) was our main waitress. When she found out it was a child's birthday she came with balloons to put on the table to make it festive. She gave us (a party of 9) a great table kind of off by itself. The food was served hot and was very good. They had special child sized steaks with fries. The wait staff was very patient and attentive and made us feel welcome even though with three 11 year olds it got a little boisterous at times. We enjoyed our food and birthday gathering. Thank you.“

“Off The Grill (Dorsett) — January Yum‑ary Pick
Off The Grill on Dorsett is one of those spots that somehow freezes time in the best way. I hadn’t been in years, but the second those sirloin tips hit the table, it was like nothing had changed — still tender, still seasoned right, still that “why don’t I come here more often” kind of good.
And the loaded potato? Listen. It’s exactly the kind of chaos I want in a side: cheese melting into butter, bacon bits piled like they’re trying to prove a point. Zero notes.
I also grabbed the chicken ranch pita, and it was so solid I didn’t even realize until after I finished it that I forgot to put the ranch on. That’s how you know the chicken is doing the heavy lifting — juicy, flavorful, no sauce required.
What did surprise me was spotting a filet mignon on the menu. Either that’s new or I was too broke back in the day to even look in that direction. Either way, I’m absolutely coming back for it. If their sirloin tips are still hitting after all these years, I’m ready to see what they do with a filet.
Verdict: Off The Grill is still Off The Grill — dependable, hearty, and quietly elite. A perfect January comfort pick.

“Normal Longhorn Steakhouse. Good food! Music was loud when I entered. After I was given a table I asked for it to be turned dow, it was right away. Also asked for ultra light seasoning, IMO normal is way too much. They did a good job and cooked it perfectly rare, just how I asked.“

“Not up to usual standards. Apparently due to lack of servers like many restaurants at this time. Over an hour to receive our salads. Our order was taken in the first 10 minutes, but was taken by another server about 45 minutes later. Food was acceptable, but not up to previous visits. I would continue to recommend this establishment. I would assume this was an exception. I did find it odd that the servers may no attempt to offer dessert or some other form of compensation. They both were clearly aware of the delay.“

“Just had the best lunch experience I've had in STL in years. Rose, our server, was an absolutel beautiful gem. She took extra care of us with a huge smile. I had the ribeye sandwich and it was the best one I've ever had!! The flavor combo was amazong, great job Chef!! Thr atmosphere was warm and inviting. Thank you!!“

“Giving Texas Roadhouse , St. Charles, Mo. Bass pro location, a huge shoutout with thanks for their fantastic food. They have catered our church event for several years now . Their food gets rave reviews from our attendees . Julie and her crew do a wonderful job and we will be back next.“
