Their fresh food, juices, and eclectic menu makes it so you can always try something new. They have specialties each month, and I suggest you go before the end of February and try their barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl!! Today I had the morning meditation juice and the barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl was a party in my mouth! The braised beef barbacoa mixed with the eggs, beans, and other seasonings. My friend opted for the Italian Inspired omelet. You can put a reservation in online prior to arrival on busy days (like Saturday). The wait was not long this morning, and the food makes the wait worth it. One thing I like about Fresh Watch is the continuity across the chain in that regardless of which restaurant you choose the food is always good and fresh. Great service. Stop in and check them out…try something new!“

“Walking down Main St on a beautiful evening and the patio caught our eye. The "dungeon" basement is cool and the bartender was really sweet. Having a fire when it got a bit chilly was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be recommending to friends and coming back for dinner soon.“

“I have been a customer of Salt N Smoke for the past 4 years and always have had a wonderful experience, however this recent time with a nightmare to say the least... I ordered on 1/12/2022 around 8:45 PM via a Call-In on a Debit Card. What I ordered was (2) Bestie 2 Combos, one with Sweet Ribs and Smoked Wings sides were Sweet Potato Chips and Mac n Cheese, the 2nd Bestie 2 Combie was Ribs, Smoked wings and for the sides it was the Fries and the Mac N Cheese. Total for the Order was $41.72 Charged to VISA Debit Card Ending In (4360) I recently moved away to Iowa in the past 1 year so anytime I come into town in Saint Charles to see my parents which is often I always get Salt N Smoke in Saint Charles, MO I wish I could get it from Delmar if it was closer because I have never had a bad experience at that location ever, however Saint Charles is a different story. When I got to my parents I noticed all of the food was cold, not even slightly warm, I was really confused on how that was possible because I arrived at Salt N Smoke in Saint Charles before my order was finished. I ended up warming up both dinners because I did not want to waste food but still could not get myself to finish the meal mainly because there was something very wrong with the chicken almost like it was spoiled, my girlfriend was trying to be polite and ate everything to her regret, 1 day later she told me she had the worse stomach pain she has ever felt and it was so bad where we had to rush her to the E.R Hospital at Great River Health Center in Fort Madison, IA where we currently reside. After waiting 2 hours, doing blood tests and urine samples the doctor came to the conclusion that my girlfriend had gotten "Gastritis" which is a bad stomach inflammation which the doctor recommended it was caused from the poultry at the BBQ place she ate which was Salt N Smoke on Saint Charles... Tried to write them via Email no response, they will be hearing from my attorney.“

“Can’t speak to most of their food but I can tell you that they have the BEST crispy spring rolls and crab rangoon (sweet) around! I haven’t ever tried anything else because these are just delish!“

“Wow! Their food was AMAZING. It was so fresh and so tasty. The Italian dip was so good! Probably one of the best ones I’ve ever had. The pizza and toasted ravs were so good as well, perfect amount of crispiness and flavor. The star of the show though, THE CANNOLI was amazing! It was crispy, and I wish I had 12 of them if I am being honest. Initially I was a little concerned about the price of our order, but after trying it, it was 100% worth it. I will be back and I’ll be counting the days until I can have that perfect cannoli again.

The service was great, i came into to pick my order up and i was in and out in 2 mins, the cashier even held the door for me when i carried out my pizza.

“Today me and my wife and daughter decide to try a new restaurant. loaded nachos and it was out of this world great. we will most definitely be going back and trying other items on the menu. if you have never tried loaded nachos I suggest you get up go on across to St Charles and get you some loaded nachos you will not be disappointed.“

“This place may not look like anything special, but the food here is quite good. The green salsa, while very spicy, is fantastic. I bought some for home and my family loves it! At least those who like spicy fare. It’s incredibly flavorful. We also have had several tasty entrees here. Again, it’s not a fancy place. And I wasn’t too impressed with their margarita. “the staff here saved a choking man's life today. they were very quick and effective, several staff had him surrounded in seconds, got the blockage cleared and he was on his way. Then they just went right back to working like nothing happened and it was just another day at the office. a true class act!“

“Sometimes you just have bad luck when you go out and sometimes it has nothing to do with the restaurant. This was one of those times. I say that to open as any further comments might be influenced by that more than I intend. The food was generally as good as expected, but there was a cilantro miss with my wife's food. To their great credit they remade it, but she still couldn't eat it, her guess was it was probably just still getting in there during the cooking with repeatedly used utensils, etc. My wife can hear a mouse sneeze a mile away and tell if I had cilantro 2 days ago when I come home, so most folks probably wouldn't have noticed. Again, to the restaurants credit, they simply took it off and we hadn't asked nor complained. The very attentive service staff just noticed and took care of it. It was a bit noisier than I prefer, but here especially I might be colored by the aggravation with the table behind us. The birthday boy who kept bouncing and banging into the seat was easier to overlook than the grandmother whose cackle was on repeat was harder to omit. It was one of those fake over done ones that was ear piercing after 45 minutes. These things happen at peak times. I hope you have better luck as the food really is enjoyable and the staff was impeccable, just watch out for that cilantro.“

“This place is lit everyone. I was there last Friday night and the ladies and bartenders were very nice and cute. This place was so busy it was shoulder to shoulder. It got so busy the police showed up 4 deep at first, they posted up on the block and kept the place safe .“

I stopped in with Family while traveling, 2 hours from home and the Experience was awesome! Food was great, service was great, The Restaurant was very clean.

The cherry on top though, when we left my son accidentally left his switch console in the booth, and when I went back to see if it was still there, staff had picked it up and kept it safe until we came looking for it about an hour later after shopping next door. The Manger personally handed it to me after I gave a description of it, saying he hoped we came back for it, since they knew we were traveling.

10/10 would stop here again!!!“
