Blueberry Hill is a vibrant and lively restaurant that serves a variety of delectable food and drinks. This Delmar Loop icon is dedicated to Chuck Berry, featuring Americana decorations and portraits of famous people covering the walls. The atmosphere is crowded but interesting, enhanced by quirky memorabilia and strong neighborhood energy. The unique decor includes a Duck Room, sports memorabilia, and even a Pac-Man room.
The menu offers tasty options such as cheese curds, the Reuben sandwich, and a black bean burger. While the "famous" hamburger has received mixed reviews—some finding it overcooked and small for the price—other customers have enjoyed a juicy burger with cheddar and bacon, describing it as exactly what one wants in a pub setting. Although the onion rings have been known to be a bit inconsistent, the Reuben sandwich is praised for its deliciousness.
Despite minor hiccups, Blueberry Hill is recognized for its quick and pleasant service, especially when it's not too busy. The jukebox and pinball machines add to the fun, though it can get loud on weekends. Sitting near the dart boards can also add an extra element of enjoyment. Overall, this St. Louis establishment is a decent option in the area, with a vibrant atmosphere and a menu that offers a mix of hits and misses, along with good drink selections and two music venues for added entertainment.
