First time visitor here, and Square One really left a great first impression! I brought a group of 8 in for a birthday dinner, and the staff really went above and beyond to accommodate a short-notice reservation for us. Unfortunately I don’t remember our server’s name, but she was phenomenal as well. Food was fantastic, our waters were always filled, and finished dishes didn’t sit around long. Would definitely recommend and will visit again!
Love that they had quite a few gf options when adding a gf bun. The waitress was well versed in safe vs unsafe items. As a celiac, I've never had a crab cake before. They have pan fried, gf panko breaded crab cakes, which allowed me the opportunity to try something new. They were so good! Definitely a new stop for our family when going to St Louis.
We haven't been for awhile, but I think the food and service were better than we remember. This is a great place to go before or after a baseball game or soccer game. Outside patio is just lovely. Beers are good and plentiful choices. Had the crab cake sliders - yum! This is definitely on our rotation for when we are close to downtown.

The food consistently impresses, with dishes like salmon with rice and beans receiving high praise, and the kids' menu providing options that satisfy all ages. The Bavarian beer is very good, and service is quick and efficient, with dishes coming out promptly. Visitors enjoy the excellent service, tasty food, and inviting atmosphere, with the patio being the perfect setting for a relaxing dinner. The rotation of beers gives plenty of opportunity to try something new while also keeping selections you know and love, and the bread pudding is highly recommended.
