Really inconsistent products. Sometimes very good. Sometimes terrible. Even when you get the same thing you will get a totally different drink half the time. The staff is meh. Not horrible, not good either. Also a kinda dirty location with homeless people always outside.
After years of living on the loop, I went to this location today honestly largely because I found an old gift card that needed using, and I ran out of my own cold brew at home. But I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience! The barista was extremely kind and we had a great little chat about makeup as I paid for my order. First the coffee and service review, great coffee and service.Second, the service and care in general, just bought coffee for my wife, myself, and a small peppermint mocha for my son. We crossed the street and my son tripped, scraped his knee and spilt his coffee.One of the ladies not only came outside to check on him but also made him a new coffee and supplied us with some band aids and neosporin.They didn’t have to do that but it meant the world to us.
