This is a nice area to walk around. There are several options for eating and shopping. The pond has huge koi fish anxiously waiting to eat treats. The area is beautifully landscaped with a comfortable walk way. Visit the aquarium, too.
This is a different property as it offers a train-themed environment as the hotel was built in the old union station in St. Louis. The main hall is beautiful and offers a unique "light show" at night. As with most hotels in the US these days there are issues with service everywhere you go, especially with properties in the 3-4 star range. Mini fridge was useless and no refreshments, only a bottled water I was given at check in. Maybe a better map and instructions on where things are and how to get there could be helpful. Our pull out sofa had no bedding sheets, not even in the closet.
