It took 45 minutes to make 3 burgers. Way to long
We haven’t been to Steak n Shake in years. We drove past this location and decided to stop in and get a to go order. The place was packed as was the drive thru. We thought it would take forever, it did not. We got our order to go. It was correct. We ate the fries on the way home. They were hot and fresh. Everything else we ordered, chili 3-ways and a burger were amazing. The whole order was hot and delicious. The workers were kind even tho I know they were super stressed....read full review

Steak 'n Shake offers a mixed dining experience. While the food is often described as "yummy" and "very satisfying," the service can be inconsistent. However, the restaurant has been praised for its attentive management, who aim to resolve any problems to the customer's satisfaction. This place has gotten it together, with hamburgers that are thin, well done with crispy edges, and french fries that are tasty, hot, and salted perfectly. The Vanilla milkshake is super delicious and topped with plenty of whipped cream and a red cherry. The drive-thru is efficient, polite, and very easy to understand, with excellent eye appeal and super clean grounds. Food is made to order, not fast food. Parking is plenty. Kids are welcome and there is a kids menu. The manager made the food fast and fresh, bigger and with some free cheese sauce. The food was great.
