“Usually only stop here once in a while. O usually get the Veggie Burrito and a hard shell taco. The veggie burrito is always so yummy. Getting the food can take a little bit but they don't seem to have a lot of staff so I don't mind waiting a bit.“

“Not sure how there are less than 5 star reviews. They had really good plates to share so you can try everything, amazing cocktails, and everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. All of the tables were full but we were able to get a spot at the bar. I would recommend a reservation.“

“Such a clever set up for a restaurant! You can order right from your seat online or you can see the counter inside. The food is fast and delicious, and also consistently good unlike some restaurants. We will definitely be back for dinner and drinks.“

“I was having a terrible day so I admit I put all my eggs in one basket hoping this place would make up for the rest, but it didn't and I know that's not fair so I will come back. The place was dead when we got there around 6pm. We ordered 2 pollo and 2 carne asada tacos, carne asada fries, and 2 horchatas coming out to around $43. I read a review comparing the carne asada fries to san diego's so I had to try since it's not the first time I had heard SD fry raves. I had lived in AZ where they were to die for so the bar was already set pretty high. The potatoes itself already gave me an OH YEAH feeling, not too heavy with the onion or cilantro, but felt it was missing something. I should've had cheese. I did get guacamole salsa- too spicy to enjoy the guacamole portion for my liking, but it might be good for some! The horchata just needed some more mixing as there was a lot of cinnamon in our servings. (This is probably the 78th serving of horchata i've had in my life, I promise I know what good horchata is for me.) Service was good! The man who checked us out was nice. The guy in the back called my name and pronounced it in a way I had never heard before. I will never forget it lol I'll need to come back and try their paletas and elotes!“

“Just decided to try this place, one of us on a diet and one of us loves fajitas. So far, the salsa That's a hit. Just spicy enough and not so spicy to require a beverage right away. Not heavy on onion(yay) and the jalapeño in the recipe is perfection. My husband ordered the chicken fajita. Looked like fun! It was a hit! So was the angus beef, taco salad! Both dogs she's were very generous on the amount of meat. We will return. Service was friendly. Communication regarding food allergies was difficult. The food was delivered by a different person than the one who took the order. The beans are very good, as is the guacamole! I will be craving the salsa.“

“This place is straight gas. Unassuming from the outside. Quaint on the inside. The food is top tier and it’s halal, which is always a plus. Everything was torch. Definitely would come in again. Everything was fair priced. Don’t sleep on this gem.“

“Ordered a carne asada burrito, chicken burrito, chips and queso, and two margaritas (strawberry and regular). Everything was fantastic. Burritos are huge, queso and chips just how I like them and margaritas were very tasty. There tomatillo salsa had just the right balance of flavor and heat. The team was very friendly and efficient. I’m definitely going back . . . often!“

“Waitress was awesome service was good! I was hoping to enjoy the potato enchiladas a lot more but they just put mashed potatoes in them which to me didn't taste good. I'm used to soft cut potatoes. I didn't realize they came with meat and my waitress was very kind and had them remade for me.“

“My new favorite Mexican restaurant in St Louis. very courteous service, everything tasted fresh, portions are ridiculously generous! My son's kid's meal was as big as a regular meal in most other restaurants, and I could only finish half of mine even though it was so good, and I normally eat a lot.“

Worst case you'll walk more than normal.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a bit tight. Not sure how easily they can accommodate wheelchairs. Call first.“

“Very American Mexican restaurant. Good food nice salsa decent rice good beans.Definitely worth a try you probably won’t be disappointed, although it may not be exactly to your taste. The chicken dish I had came with cheese sauce on the top, but I got it on the side and that was a great idea . The cheese sauce is pretty nice to dip chip in, but I wouldn’t put it on top of an entrée.“

“TL;DR: Not a typical Mexican restaurant, but absolutely awesome atmosphere if you sit outside. We stopped in after a soccer tournament and enjoyed a relaxed meal with family.I had the Brunch French Toast. It's Brioche soaked in horchata. It's a different take on French toast but good.Several other members of our party enjoyed quesadillas and loved them.“

“We have been to El Salto several times to eat in and just ordered dinners carry out tonight. This place is amazing! The food is very good, very fresh and the restaurant is very clean. We have had good service every time we ate in. They seated us, took our orders and delivered the food all very quickly (but not rushed). The carry out order was ready as scheduled. The waiters and staff have always been very friendly. The menu has so many choices, it has many spelling errors but that just adds to the charm of the place.I love the pollo loco it is a large chicken breast in a great sauce with cheese served with rice, beans and a salad with guacamole all for like $13. My wife loves the grilled tilapia with vegetables. It comes with shrimp and the vegetables are fresh and well prepared. All our meals taste great and are big enough for leftovers. We will keep coming back. I hope they are able to stay open. Lots of great food, good service with a smile and a clean restaurant close by.“

“The *best* neighborhood Mexican restaurant in St. Louis. Amazing cuisine, fast and friendly service, great value and the best margaritas in Rock Hill! My husband and I have been going to El Indio since the doors opened nearly 15 years ago and watched it grow into the successful restaurant it is today. It’s no wonder why it is such a gem in Rock Hill! Make El Indio your next night out. Order a pitcher of margaritas on the rocks, share among friends & family and discover what the rest of us already know and love!“

“Food was very delicious and flavorful. I really enjoy authentic Mexican food, and hit the nail on this one. The corn they give you on the side was delicious and sweet and very moist. The drinks were deli's as well. The service was amazing. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. The inside was very clean, spacious and dim lit. Can't wait to go again and try more food.“

“Don't let the outside fool you. Looks like every other strip mall restaurant until you walk in the doors. They killed it with the decor! I love the giant paintings, chandeliers, lighting, and wood on the booths. We were sat right away. I ordered a watermelon. Margarita and my husband ordered a beer. Our waiter came back promptly with our drinks. I took a sip of mine, and it tasted more like orange. When the waiter came back, I told him that I ordered a watermelon Margarita, and I'm not quite sure what this is. He tells me that the watermelon margaritas don't really taste like watermelon. I'm sure he could see the confusion on my face. He asked if he could take it back and make me different one. I didn't want to be wasteful, so I just asked him for little bit of the raspberry syrup. I poured that in and stirred it up. I was delighted to find out that the raspberry taste like raspberry. The choriqueso came out quickly and it was delicious. Our entrées came out as we were finishing the appetizer, perfect timing. I had the fried chicken tacos, they were amazing. My husband had the traditional chicken tacos, he love them. My kiddo had the chicken taco and she loved it as well. I ordered a second round of drinks. Raspberry margarita was fantastic. I was pretty lit after the second margarita, so be careful with those. All in all we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back soon!“

“First time at this restaurant and most definitely will not be my last! I am absolutely blown away that this place has been here and I've not tried it before now! I had the Carne Tempequinia and it was start to finish absolutely delicious! Steak was a very nice portion, and cooked & seasoned very well! I was immediately greeted with a smile and loved the vibe of this place! I will definitely be back here and often! Everyone was very nice and they checked often (but not too much) to make sure all was well. 5 stars for sure!“

“This is a great place for tacos and tortas. Sometimes on Fridays they have an enchilada special which is so good. I love their refried beans the most. They have green and red (orange-ish) salsa in squeeze bottles. The people here are kind and it's always friendly. It's not fancy, but it always hits the spot and I'm never disappointed. It's attached to a small grocery and on the side of the plaza, so a bit of diligence to find it.“

“We enjoyed a great evening at El Maguey, taking advantage of their pleasant outdoor seating. I opted for the combination meal and complemented it with a margarita, both of which were delicious. While I didn't catch the server's name, the service she provided was truly outstanding. “The food was really good, but somewhat salty. Also, what we consider mexican street corn is called "Elote Mexicano." It's not the same... They useTajin chili powder, which has a slight lime taste and higher salt content. Remember, Cotijan cheese has a salty finish. I didn't taste any smoked paprika. And the type of mayonnaise used really does matter. IJS. If you're looking for what I was looking for, "Mexican STREET CORN" look elsewhere. However, the atmosphere is laid-back with a nice, cozy feel. Kid friendly atmosphere. Drinks are OK. BEWARE: This place is NOT for anyone with high blood pressure. I'm sure a ton of places would match this description. ?“

“We have lived in High Ridge for 15 years now and had tried Que Pasa occasionally through-out the years and while the food was usually good, it was not good enough to get us coming back for more. After Covid we decided to give it another try and were very pleased with our meals. The service is always prompt and friendly (Waitress Tracy is the absolute best. Such a sweetie!!) Their carnitas platter and taco's are amazing. Salsa extremely good and all the other dishes I have tried (when I don't get Carnitas) are solid. Glad we decided to give them another try.“

“Oh my!! We had the best meal here. It immediately transported me to Mexico , my husband to his grandmothers kitchen and my son to all of his work abuelita's lunches they would bring him. It filled our stomachs and hearts. Mexican comfort food at its best. And the margaritas were not just mixer and tequila. They were delicious too. We will definitely be back.“

“Saying you care and showing you care are two totally different things. It’s easy to see why people keep coming back to this particular restaurant. From the moment you walk in you can tell that the owner and service staff are great for your patronage. That’s why we keep coming back.“

“It was good in every way except the tv was on a violent movie and I kept looking up during bloody scenes. I am sensitive to that so it made the meal less enjoyable for me. I suggest they keep the tv on nicer content. But excellent food and service. I would enjoy it if they salted the chips too.“

“The ladies meet every month at a different place and the majority likes Mexican food so we chose here this month. Food is pretty good, don't order fish taco off the happy hour menu. “Took my grandma here for a margarita, as it is her favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Food was good, margaritas were excellent. Seemed a little short staffed at the time we went, but that’s everywhere. The hostess/waitress said there would be wait of 5-10 minutes even though there were plenty of empty tables, she seemed to be alone with a rather large section. The bartender immediately said he would take care of us and sat us right away. He was excellent. He really went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of.“
“The kids menu has Mexican and American options. The fajitas were delicious and warm on a cold day! Our server was very friendly, polite, and kept up with our requests.Parking: Plenty of close parking.Kid-friendliness: The kids meals were small, I have a 9 year old scrawny little girl that eats like a 40 year old man we ordered an extra burrito for. Our 5 and 8 year old were full from the meals. I really appreciated the meal variety for kids. We also ordered macaroni and cheese and chicken fingers that came with some really good fries.“

“Awsome restuarant. Food was fresh and came out sizzling. Beans,Lettuce, tomatoes, shrimp, and steak were just plain good. The price wasn't bad at all for the amount of food my family and I received. We ate in and got very full and still brought food home enough to get full again. Just good. Good enough to make you close your eyes when you taste it and say "this is REALLY good". Fifty six bucks filled my wife, daughter, and myself up completely.Kid-friendliness: Server made sure we were cared for well.“

“Today I continued my adventure to try every tex-mex restaurant in St. Louis. Not really, but that is where my wanderings ended up, here at Hacienda. I have driven by the Majestic Chicken statue countless times, but tonight was the night I stopped in. Also, I was out voted in the car about what style of food we should have tonight. The parking lot was sufficient, as when we got there on a beautiful Friday evening and they looked almost full, a little search found a nice spot. As we walked in, there seemed to be plenty of tables outside and inside. We were taken to a table inside, but right next to a large open sliding door, so we could clearly see and feel the outside. Drinks and appetizers came next, which were both standard fare; the chips and salas were normal; and the queso with chorizo was good. All in all, solid so far, but nothing you don't find at most tex-mex places. The main event of the night for me was the impossible wet burrito, and my dining companion had enchiladas verdes. The impossible burrito definitely took the cake as being well made and delicious. While I was told the enchiladas were good, The service was decent, but I had to ask a few times for a drink refill. Overall, not a bad stop for the evening. I went home full and happy.“

“I love the food but your chips for your chips and salsa are too hard! No need for a thick chip when your salsa is puréed.I’ll keep it simple, I love the food I love the drinks, and I think his name is Justo always takes care of us. If you like spicy food, I recommend the Alambre fajitas..Vegetarian options: Since vegetarians don’t eat meat, but they do eat cheese. You can pretty much order anything and just take off the meat.“

“Every Mexican restaurant has its own particular taste, this one is the type I like. Prices are reasonable. Food was served hot. Service was good. Margaritas were good. The exterior isn't anything exceptional as it's just in a strip mall, but the inside is colorful and roomy.“

“I met a colleague here for a lunch meeting, and I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of seating, how it didn't feel overly crowded even during the lunch rush, and that it was a very convenient location to find, right there in Arnold!I've always appreciated how Qdoba allows for unlimited toppings of all kinds on your burrito, bowl, or tacos.....this location did not disappoint, what a variety! When I'm hankering for this flavor of Mexican cuisine, this is my go-to spot. ??“

“The food here tastes authentic to me (a very white lady, who at least has been to Mexico quite a few times!). It's honestly delicious, I have never had anything not good here. Staff is friendly. Margaritas do not disappoint. The chips and salsa are on point. Particularly love the fajitas, but burritos, enchiladas, nachos, taquitos are all really yummy! It's kind of a whole in the wall vibe, but it's definitely a clean, and enjoyable, and fun atmosphere.“
