“This is one of my favorite spots in Branson! I've never had a bad meal here. My favorite is the steak alhambre plate. The steak is cooked with tomatoes, onions and peppers, and then they add wonderful melty cheese. It's served with flavorful rice and beans, avocado, lettuce, and their absolutely phenomenal homemade tortillas. I always get the Tamarindo margarita to go with it, and it is one of my favorite meals in town. Also, their whole set-up is so inviting, family friendly, and lovely. The owners are lovely and accommodating, and you can tell how much care they put into everything they do.“

“Had their queso birria tacos combo with good old Mexican cola cola. The birria soup was tasty and wasn't too hot for people afraid of too much heat you can still get great flavor at tacos no 1. Salsa bar is at your disposal. Plenty of napkins for the messy eaters.“

“If you’re looking for authentic Puerto Rican flavor, this place is it. Every dish tastes like it came straight out of a home kitchen on the island is full of seasoning, rich flavor, and made with care. The mofongo is perfectly mashed and packed with flavor, the arroz con gandules is on point, and the meats are always tender and well-seasoned. What really makes this spot special is how consistent everything is. You can tell they take pride in their food. The portions are generous, the atmosphere feels welcoming, and the service makes you feel like family. Definitely my go-to spot when I’m craving real Puerto Rican food. Highly recommend if you want something authentic and satisfying.“

“Favorite spot for tacos in Branson. Street tacos, not gringo tacos. Horchata is delicious as well. The ladies are my favorite, always smiling and happy to see you. I love the carnitas, my wife does the pastor. To be clear the pastor have no pineapple, I am glad about that personally. Green tomatillo sauce is fire!not fire hot but fire as in blazin bright awesome! Lots of options other than tacos too.“

“I have enjoyed all of the El Lago locations. The Forsyth location opened shortly after I moved to Forsyth. I have only ever had one food issue where the quesadilla didn't have much cheese. I mentioned it to the server and they made it right for me. I have also had the ground beef tacos, burrito especial, taco salad with ground beef and no sour cream, chili relleno, the chicken fajitas, the special fajitas, and probably more. I keep coming back for the quality and taste of the food. The portions are usually more than I can eat in one sitting. The service is always great. I tell them each time when I am checking out, that it is always good, and if it wasn't, I wouldn't keep coming back.“

If you haven't tried this little place in the Branson Mo. area, check it out! We haven't experienced very good Mexican food here coming from Calif. Its very different. “A few nights ago, we went to Cantina Laredo with some friends that were here from Arizona. I was really nervous about dining out, because I have Alpha Gal and I’m allergic to dairy, eggs and gluten. Our server was very kind, patient, knowledgeable and very accommodating. She spoke with their kitchen staff and made them aware of my allergy issues and they took great care of me. I had guacamole and chips for an appetizer, then chicken fajitas with corn tortillas, and a side of black beans. My food was absolutely delicious! If you have food allergies, I would highly recommend Cantina Laredo at the Branson Landing.“
