“This place is one of the hidden gems of Valley Park. Why would anyone go to a fast food place when you can go here and get food both cheaper AND far superior to fast food? Duck Inn Market is the real deal. I’ve literally never had a single bad thing here. On top of it they might even be faster than fast food too. Darn near it at least. Thank you Duck Inn Market!“
“Let's start off with the food. Very Good. The Gumbo was jus spicy & seasond enough. The consistency was good too. The Blackened Catfish was again season perfectly and the rice was in point. The Yams, Mac & cheese was good. The Greens was good but the cut was too big. The Salmon was way too dry but that's every place in St Louis. The cornbread is almost like cake but it has a good flavor. The peach cobbler is great and the banana pudding is good but it doesn't have any bananas. The waiting area is tight and the neighborhood has gone down. The wait time is a little long however the food is worth it. It's definitely on my recommend list of places for foodies try in St LouisParking: Street front parking only and two level of steps. Not wheelchair accessible. You might have to wait in your car or on the porch because the waiting room is very tight“
“My wife and I made reservations to have our anniversary dinner at Sister Cities and my god it did not disappoint. I asked our server about a blackened catfish po boy (which is not on the menu) and the chef came through! It was one of the single best pieces of fish I’ve ever had. Our meal was smoked wings, crab cakes, a catfish po boy and seafood gumbo. The flavors are on point and the spice is absolute perfection! Do make a reservation though if you are having dinner. A great meal takes extra care and time so be prepared to enjoy the atmosphere and have a couple of drinks while the food is lovingly prepared. The care and integrity put into the food is second to none. If you want a piece of frozen fried catfish slapped on a bun in 20 minutes, this isn’t for you. It’s an experience and event. Thank you guys for making our anniversary very special! We’ll make reservations again soon!“
“I see you on Great Food Truck Challenge. I'm from central Illinois and thought while I was in the city to see the Cardinals play I would try you out. Your shrimp and grits was wonderful. The grits were so creamy and the shrimps wasn't overly spicy. Your bread pudding, I'm not a big fan of bread pudding but, I heard you bragging about it. If I could get bread pudding like that more often I would eat it. It was so cinnamon and the prairies with caramel heaven in a bowl.“
“always a great meal, reasonable prices and always a drink special! Harry really knows how to do this upright. It's a seafood, gumbo, all around great restaurant. If you're interested in those types of great things, including fried clams, fish tacos, and crab, I highly recommend it !“
“Food was absolutely delicious and they have large portion sizes - I had been craving seafood boil for a while and this really hit the spot!! Atmosphere is extremely fun as well! The service was completely incredible - Alyssa was so kind and helpful even though we came in on the later side! I accidentally forgot my engagement ring on the table and Alyssa and another server found it and stayed late to get it back to me (thank you so much again to the both of them)!! They are really awesome here, I definitely recommend!“
“The food, the service (Allen W.), the music.....all AMAZING!!! Since we got into St. Loius for our visit we have been waiting for our "ah-ha" meal and experience and we got it here. Everything was so prefect!!! Thank you, Evangeline's. We will be back.“
“Hands down best tacos I’ve had in a very long time, especially since being in Missouri! Staff was super friendly, food was fast and delicious, 10/10 would reccomend!Kid-friendliness: Super friendly and professional staff, definitely could bring your children around and have nothing to worry about!“
“Great Place to dine ? The Cajun boil bag is DELICIOUS! It came with ? corn, ?potatoes, sausage ? and shrimp ? Awwwe Man the broth n sauce in the bag was soo tasteful and full of garlic ? and it came with a side of garlic bread ?Definitely will be eating here again?? and recommending to my friends ?“
“Great lunch today at The Mad Crab! Wings were excellent and crispy (always a nice surprise at a seafood place) and the crab boils had everything you could want. The triple x sauce combo is the way to go, and add sausage if it's not already included in your boil. If it wasn't so cold out, I definitely would have ordered a daiquiri. The bibs were a nice touch, and turned out to be necessary!“
“Last night was our first time visiting Creole with a Splash of Soul. Not only was the food amazing but the customer service was top tier. They were very accommodating and thoughtful as it was my mother’s 78th birthday. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our evening memorable!“
“We came here before a theater visit and did drinks and tapas. All our food was excellent as were the drinks. Our server, Nola, was attentive and friendly. She even made sure some of our late arrivals got their food in time for us to head out and make the show. Only ding was that the seats in the booth we sat in were lumpy, torn and taped. It could use some attention and love.“
“Thank you to the owner for keeping everyone safe from the guy who pulled out his gun. His psychotic girlfriend walked out clapping and smiling after her boyfriend had pulled out a gun at the restaurant. Owner did nothing wrong! Everyone was obviously scared I hope they caught that man and his girlfriend!“
“Today I found myself at a nice little Cajun place in Webster Groves. I originally set out from my house, not knowing where I wanted to eat dinner or even if I wanted dinner. My wandering took me to Webster, where I stumbled into this place and thought I wanted some fried catfish. That is exactly what I got. The place was lively when I walked in, with a live band playing and TVs all over the place showing college basketball. The place felt like walking into a bar/restaurant down in Morgan City, LA. I found a high-top seat, and a lovely waitress came over, took my order for fried catfish, coleslaw, fries and an appetizer of fried ravioli but these were stuffed with crab meat. Only thing I forgot to ask for was cornbread. Anyway, the catfish was fried well, the coleslaw tasty, the waffle fries cooked to perfection, and the ravioli took a prize for the best thing I ate while I was there. Overall, I enjoyed myself and went home full and happy. Would love to go again, especially to their brunch, which looks downright delectable.“
