“I visited this spot on a whim, hungry after a workout and I'm so glad I did! It popped up on Yelp with great reviews so I stopped in. The service was great and the food came out fast. The smoked Turkey was super flavorful and tender. Definitely try the spicy house bbq sauce on the turkey and the baked beans. Chefs kiss. The greens weren't my cup of tea. They weren't bad, just was missing a little something for my taste. I would definitely go back next time I'm in the area.“
“It’s been years since I’ve had ribs as good as these. I had a half rack along with fries and mac and cheese.I was pleasantly surprised that there were bottles and draft beer available- this wasn’t mentioned on the website. Also glad there were additional sides, I think these rotate? I thought I saw pictures of mac and cheese in reviews, but it wasn’t on the menu.Fries and mac were good, but average. Ribs were fantastic- I wish I had ordered a full rack. All the sauces I tried were good, but not mind blowing.All the employees were helpful, cheerful and in a good mood. I would definitely return.“
“Exterior parking lot was very dimly lit which I could see being a turn off for some people. Are they open? Are they not? Food was flavorful. We both got the budget pork meal. Small amount of meat, but I did ask for budget didn't I? Potato salad and side salad were excellent. The salad had a lemon vinaigrette dressing which if you like lemons you'll love it; I'm so so on lemons so it wasn't to my taste. Service was quick and prompt and friendly. For 7:30 at night on a Saturday it was pretty empty. All in all 2 budget meals for $28.“
“My family visits this location often, and they never disappoint. But this year we decided to order Thanksgiving smoked turkey and brisket to cut down on the cooking for the holiday. It was the best turkey we have ever had. We are so grateful for the staff for opening their doors to feed us on a holiday. We love Sugarfire. Oh and the pies sealed the deal for desert. Best BBQ in the STL!“
