“This is a perfect good ol'tavern. Exactly what I like if I go to have a drink. Bartender s are great, atmosphere is fun and friendly, it's a cheers for the motorcycle club and friends. Always a good time. Sam and Woody are not serving you it Missy, Michelle, or as they call Cheyenne " the new girl" you can't go wrong with any of the three. And if you are lucky enough to run into Elliot or some other regular faces, you have a great day ahead!“

They offered karaoke and the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves quite well. The bartender Scott was on point and very polite. The staff are all super friendly people. The owner is a stand up guy, and you can tell he really cares about his customers and he treats his employees with love and respect like any great owner would. “My big sister helps run the place on the weekends and works the kitchen . it's a nice quiet relaxing spot to play some pool, play video games, darts , have some drinks and great food plus, the atmosphere is always chilled. I highly recommend the double cheeseburger and fries combo with a drink for only 6$, or for a starter the cauliflower bites coupled with mini tacos are also pretty great. Brews are solid priced and reasonable and so are shots it's a great place to stop in and have a few drinks or hang out with friends and get together.“

It's really not your best bet if you want food. They serve your basic frozen pizzas and the like, but nothing remarkable. Sammi's Subs, next door, is another story though. EXCELLENT sandwiches (but they aren't open late). Like another reviewer said, I think Norb's is a great dive-bar with some pool tables and darts. Probably the most fun if you bring a friend or two, and preferably ones who like to play pool or darts. I believe they were cash only at the bar, and they didn't really have a lot of drink specials when I went. So bring cash.“

“Hubby and l are trying different restaurants located near our home.
The restaurant opened in 1960. It has a large bar and local crowd in the Godfrey area. Everyone was welcoming and kind. It appeared to be one waitress, and she was a super server. In my opinion, she earned her 25% as she changed the TV to tennis, so my 71-year-old husband would sit down?
I also like the help yourself shelf with carry out containers, condiments, and utensils. Thanks for the inviting atmospher??❤️“

“This place is kinda fun. It's in the basement of the DoubleTree hotel. There is no sign outside the hotel telling you it's inside. So it feels like going to a speakeasy or something. But there it is in the basement along with the hotel's meeting rooms for small conferences. At any rate, there were a couple of people at the bar and a couple of diners but overall pretty empty. The decor is decent and seems new. We both ordered the Smokey Veggie Burger and they were good! There like a crazy cattle brand burned into the top bun of the burger. Fun! Burgers were really tasty and filling. Steak fries were good. This is an odd little restaurant with a fun kinda scavenger hunt to find it in a kinda forgotten area by the airport. We'll be back.
