“We were on a road trip and was looking for some authentic Mexican food. We looked at reviews and thought that the photos of food at this place looked absolutely delicious, so we headed over there.

This place is a dive, a hole in the wall. This means the food was going to be really great or really terrible. It turns out it was really, really great! 😁

We were seated immediately and drinks were quickly brought out. We decided to try the chips and guacamole, carne asada and pollo (chicken) tacos with rice and beans.

The food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I start eating and I was so glad that we stopped here. The guacamole and chips were very tasty. The corn tortillas were homemade and so good. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The beans were MAGICAL. I only stopped eating them because I was so full already. The rice was really good.

I HIGHLY recommend this place for those who are looking for authentic Mexican food. I will come back whenever I’m in the area to try more dishes.“

“I love street tacos and they have a large selection of proteins. Their Taco Tuesday special has: carne asada, barbacoa, pollo, chorizo, alpastor, carnitas and suadero I had 1 of each and they were all very good. The red and green sauce were tasty and hot. I did takeout and they prepared it very quick.“

“Ordered this place on Grubhub bc they were offering $4 off and I wanted to try lengua (cow tongue) tacos. Changed my mind and ordered tacos tripas (tripe) and absolutely loved it. Also ordered a burrito and guacamole. Came back and ate inside. The service is a bit unconventional but the food is superb. Very authentic. I’m not Mexican but I am very familiar to the culture. I hope this doesn’t offend anyone but I’ve been to quite a few Mexican restaurants in Hattiesburg but this is the first one where I see Mexicans actually sitting down eating too. Highly recommend.“

“It’s a five star because of the guy I met working the drive through close to 2 o’clock which is their closing time. He was very professional and even though the kitchen was out of chicken and nacho cheese at 1:55 p.m. the drive through worker held a very good manner and didn’t get upset and recommended me a way to help which I respect. The five stars is for the window costumer service late at night. The kitchen definitely needs some work for the later part of the shift.“
