“A local hangout, my kind of place. The ribs, baked beans, and coleslaw were excellent. I made sure to introduce myself to Mr. Ronnie and Mrs. Betty (she ran off to the store for more wings) after eating because I enjoyed their food and hospitality. Truly some down-to-earth good-hearted folks. Even though I wasn’t local everyone in there was friendly and talkative. A great bunch of people to be around. It was a pleasure meeting y’all and will be sure to stop by again next time i’m passing through.“
“Every year we go down to the blues fest we go by everyday to get a plate!! We look forward to it! We bring many from st.Louis and they fall in love with Mrs.Betty and her husband!! The food is southern soul food like it's supposed to be! Fresh, the taste is with LOVE! And we love the fact they are open late to accommodate us!! See you in a few months!! STL love!!“
“We parked our motorcycles at BB King's Museum and saw this restaurant across the street. We were hungry and walked over to lunch. We ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich and it was as good as we have had. They make their own sauce, like most BBQ places and it was also very good. Treated well and reasonable service. Unique place, would have been fun to have been there during live music.“

“In town for one day and we were traveling with our dogs. Found this place online and was not disappointed. Best home-cooking I've ever had from a restaurant. Smoked ribs, hamburgers, pulled pork sandwich, fried okra and homemade brown gravy just like my grandma use to make. The price of the food is more than worth it!“
