“Long time place to pick up ribs. They were once located a mile or so down Hwy 7 in an old convenience store that also sold cold beer on Sundays - a haven for generations of Ole Miss students when Oxford was still dry on Sundays. There was nothing like rolling the windows down and heading up Hwy 7 to grab cold beer and a rack of delicious ribs on a beautiful spring Sunday afternoon back in the day.While the location has changed and they no longer sell beer, they still cook ribs and they’re as good as ever. Get there early as they can run out. If they are out of ribs, they’ll likely have rib tips, which are just as mouth watering as the complete version.When you first walk in, you may question whether you’ve actually entered a restaurant, but you’re in the right place and they’ll take good care of you. The inside doesn’t offer much on atmosphere, but take your ribs outside and plop down on your tailgate and the atmosphere goes from 2 stars to 5 in a hurry.The ribs are Memphis style dry rub. If you like sauce, don’t worry as they’ll provide a side of it for dipping. These are the best ribs you’ll find anywhere in North Mississippi, in my opinion.Cash only. BYOB.”

“My sister, brother in law, son, and I had dinner here to celebrate mine and my son's birthdays. We ordered the meatball appetizer with grilled bread from Bottletree Bakery which was wonderful. We shared three pizzas and everyone at the table agreed that its the best pizza we've had in recent memory. I loved the concrete walls/industrial vibe of the restaurant, but we agreed some art or greenery would be an improvement.”

“This place is unassuming from the street, but the food and experience will knock your socks off. The salad with Gyro meat is fantastic. The crunchy edges on the meat are the best! I loved it with the vinaigrette and feta dressings. The grilled pita was so simple but full of flavor. We chose it with feta and I would get it that way again. The picnic tables on the deck outside were the perfect location to enjoy the amazing weather of the day, but they even open the garage doors for the inside, so you couldn't go wrong with any seat there. And if you love to take home plastic cups, their cups are giant and a bright yellow. The kind you want to use over and over again. This will be a top choice whenever I am in Oxford.Parking: Parking available on both sides of the building.”

“My favorite restaurant in Oxford. We love Tarasque so much! Food is quick and absolutely delicious. A spin on classics that are done perfectly. Our go-to dishes are the butter bean hummus, capellini puttanesca, and the Caesar salad which is made with cabbage. The staff is friendly and inviting. Patio is great.”

The service is excellent and always clean. Don't settle on Waffle House with cigarette ashes in food, eat here!”

“March 11th, 2023Sat at the bar and enjoyed the exceptional selection of bourbon. I didn't dine but can say the food being delivered to the surrounding tables looked and smelled delicious. Our bartender was extremely knowledgeable, she introduced us to a few bourbons we have since sought out. Many thanks.”

“I had the shrimp po boy. It was okay. The bread was good that it was served on. The shrimp themselves were decent. They could have stood a little more seasoning in the batter. It was also very dry as a whole. It said it comes with spicy ketchup, which I did not see any on mine, and mayonnaise. A coworker had the French fries. They were frozen fries and they lacked seasoning for sure. They were very bland. My drink never got refilled, however the peoples’ drinks at my table were refilled.”

Additionally, the Slow Drawl also left a lasting impression, easily ranking as one of the finest beers I've ever had the pleasure of sipping. It’s what I imagine beer should taste like. Served in a dimple mug, the slow pour masterpiece is worth the wait.The Paint the Town Amber Ale and the Hill Country Cream Ale each brought their own delightful flavors to the table, enriching our dining experience with well-crafted brews that highlighted the brewery's dedication to quality and innovation. It was a refreshing break from the IPA heavy offerings at most craft brew pubs.The standout of our visit, however, was Austin, a recent Ole Miss graduate who not only provided expert advice on the selection of beers but also went above and beyond in welcoming my daughter, an incoming freshman. His engaging manner and deep knowledge of both the University and life's finer points were incredibly helpful. He even tackled some of her more unconventional questions with ease and enthusiasm, making our lunch visit immensely enjoyable.The food at Circle and Square was nothing short of spectacular. The Spiced Chicken Sandwich was a highlight, featuring flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared chicken that was a joy to eat. The giant pretzel, served with spicy ground mustard, was arguably the best pretzel I've ever had—soft, warm, and perfectly salted, it paired beautifully with the craft beer offerings.Our experience at Circle and Square was not just a meal; it was a memorable event that was enhanced by exceptional service, outstanding food, and extraordinary beers. It's a must-visit for anyone coming to Oxford, especially for those new to the Ole Miss community. Double door entry and wide entrance and exit. The aisles between seating were wide enough for wheelchairs and space to put a wheelchair chair to the table.”

“I want to write a review for this place. My family is Italian so I know pretty good Italian food is. I made an order through doordash and of course, as usual, I get the wrong order. It's something I go through just about every single night because I travel. If you haven't been driven insane by doordash I congratulate you lol . The manager replaced my order and personally brought it over to the hotel I'm staying even though some Desert Inn I would name him but I didn't catch his name I was a little frustrated about my order. This seems like a very nice place and the sauce is really good. I really appreciate you coming over with the order much love !”
