Ive been eating at McElroys for years. Its been awhile, so i picked up an order for my parents, who can no longer leave the house. They love McElroys. And it was very disappointing. The quality just wasnt what it used to be. Portions smaller. A side of gumbo was missing (and thats an upcharge!). Crabcakes did not taste like before. Food was EXCELLENT! Service, atmosphere, scenic views were all amazing. We went for a field trip with our son and they prepared food for 35+ kids that was hot and ready for them when we arrived. All of the food boxes and drink cups were labeled with each child’s name. Perfect organization.
