“The restaurant is very cozy. Yia Yia and Papou always come out of the kitchen and greet their guests. They truly treat you like family. I came alone today. Usually come here with my husband. I started with a cup of soup of the day, had the roasted chicken with lemon potatoes as entree, and finished with a slice of lemoncello cake with coffee. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 30 yrs. Dined all of this wonderful country. Yia Yai’s has become one of my top 5 places to dine. Service is impeccable and the cuisine is so authentic and on point. It’s cold outside so it was a hard decision to make over choosing the roasted chicken or the Moussaka that has a hint of cinnamon in the sauce. Sat in the back booth and throughly enjoyed my lunch. Thank you to all the staff at Yia Yia’s for bringing such an incredible environment to the Flowood area!“

“I can’t say enough good things about the staff—they were incredibly kind, helpful, and hardworking. multitasking constantly, I never once saw anyone on their phone—they were fully focused on doing their jobs, and doing them well. If you were working the night shift around 5:30–6:30, thank you for your dedication and kindness! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The broccoli and rice casserole was packed with flavor, the Mexican cornbread was phenomenal, and the chicken on a stick was hot, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!“

“I’m not going to lie this is perhaps the best longest standing Taco Bell location in the state. The food is always fresh and u remember dining at this location with my grandfather in the late 90’s it was good then and just as good now. I must admit, this Taco Bell location is perhaps the best and longest-standing in the state. The food is consistently fresh, and I fondly recall dining here with my grandfather in the late 90s. It was just as good then as it is now.“

“I’m at SAHM of two little ones (4&2) Due to the timing of my youngest’s speech therapy appointments we eat lunch out twice a week. It’s always something I secretly dread because we don’t do screens so my kiddos can be wild. Usually workers give me funny looks but not here. Everyone was nothing but helpful.
