“This is the best and only place to go in Brookhaven for Mexican food and drinks. The other mexican restaurants in town are bland and tasteless. The food here is amazing, It is well seasoned and full of flavor. Nothing on the menu is bad. If you don't see him running around, ask for Mr. Tequila. He will make sure you are well taken care of. On our last visit, Emilie was our server and she was terrific. Very attentive and always checking on us.“

“Smiles from the greeting at door & at the table. Dining room was in order and clean within 30 minutes of lunch hour, that’s impressive. Food was hot, flavorful and appetizing. Was a great presentation. The staff checked in on our drinks and to see if we were pleased with our food. Prices are affordable and no loud noises from kitchen. Best Mex-American around.“

“Even with hours of operation changing due to short staff & Covid, really love the fact they offer the full menu all day from open to close. The drive through line has gotten a lot faster & reliable within the last year. Even recently, staff I have encountered at the drive through windows have been up beat regardless if they just opened or seconds away from closing. It’s known around the state for sure of lack of staff, after the hours changed from basically 22 hours a day (closing around 3 or 4 am and reopening at least by 7 am if not sooner) , to the 7-9pm from the lack of staff to fill the 22 hour daily schedule, the staff seem to have a positive and very improved team.I can honestly say I use to check my order immediately as I received it, while still sitting in front of the window already figuring something was going to need fixing or something missing to feeling confident when receiving my order that the staff has provided positive customer service and did not make it feel like a bother having to even take my order. Within the last 4 months I haven’t checked my bag u til I was actually going to eat the meal and so far I have not been disappointed! The improvement and change in the overall experience has been remarkable, regardless of employees actions when the window is closed, when the window is open they have been great. This team seems to be moving forward regardless of staffing, etc. team members are only as good as the management training them, & they all have made a huge difference especially in the time we live now. #bringbacknachofries“

“We visited this restaurant today around 3:30pm. Very spacious. The attendants were very nice and asked if we needed anything constantly, I gave the service a 5 star. The food, however, was not the best to my liking. The horchata drink is not homemade. It's from the powder that gets mixed with water, instantly within the 1st sip we knew. The salsa from the chips taste like the salsa from the grocery store glass jars, they just added chopped onion and cilantro. We ordered the carne asada. The meat was missing some seasoning but to each its taste. I just added salt - no big deal. The refried beans taste like the canned beans from the store. I had way too many purple onions to my liking in my salad. The rice was decent. Customer service was excellent, though. I honestly did not feel satisfied with the food.“
