“I love El Torero and the friendly staff there. Enchiladas are too hard to pass up, but I would recommend the fajitas and quesadillas as well. One of my critical elements at any Tex Mex restaurant is the quality of the rice, beans, and salsa. El Torero cooks all three well.“

“Wow! I mean WOW! I'm now absolutely in love with this place! I had a dish I've had at several different Mexican restaurants and none of them come close to how good this was. Also the best strawberry margarita I've ever had. Our waiter was very nice and attentive with a huge lovely smile the whole time. All the other employees I interacted with were also very nice and friendly. The atmosphere and decor were great as well! I will definitely be dining here again hopefully many times. I highly recommend trying this place out for yourself and you will not regret it!“

“Service is always top notch friendly every time we’ve eaten here, probably 25 times or more. Never been disappointed. My wife’s favorite is Special Lunch #1 with Poblano and soft Taco. I’ve always enjoyed their Shrimp dishes and had Taco Salad with Shrimp. the Shrimp are always cooked to perfection, a good size and plentiful.. Never anything but delish reasonable meals.“

“Been a while since Ive been here. The service was great but the food was just okay. I got the Arroz con Pollo(rice with chicken) and i guess I didn’t read enough but it was a little different than I expected. I got a plate of rice with lettuce and sour cream and then I got a fajita plate with a pounded out piece of chicken that was cooked with vegetables and topped with cheese. Because the chicken, vegetables and cheese were all on the same plate the cheese was pretty watery, from the water that cooked out of the vegetables. Overall the meal was okay but not really something I would order again. I tried a bite of the tamales and they were okay. The queso and salsa were good but the chips were not fresh.“

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Flowood, or anywhere around Jackson! Consistently great food, fast. The tacos al carbon are amazing. The carne picada is another favorite. Their enchiladas are the best! Consistently great every time!“

“I go to the location at lunch as it is near my office. I've never had any issues during lunchtime. The staff is polite and my order is made as requested.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu can be flipped to a vegetarian dish. Cheese Quesadilla, veggie power bowl, cheesy potatoes, bean burritos, etc. You can sub meat for beans on the dish and these you have it.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair ramp“

“Food was great! Customer Service was great! Dining Room could have used some cleaning along with the food line table. But all around was great. We will definitely go again!Parking: Did not locate any handicap parking spaces close to the entrance of the building at all.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide enough for a wheelchair to get through.“

“This location is always super clean and organized. My food is always great in taste and presentation. My customer service experience was not so great. I understand we can't always be in a wonderful mood, especially in a fast-paced environment, but this young lady was just completely all wrong. She was the rudest and just downright nasty... I do not hold Taco Bell responsible for her behavior. I just pray that she never walks in my office with an application in hand... Be mindful of how you cross bridges.“

“Excellent refried beans, which I believe to be a vital benchmark for any restaurant that serves them. Great guacamole. The rice is just as I like it. We usually eat vegetarian or pescatarian, and the shrimp tacos and veggie tacos on their homemade corn tortillas are regularly part of our to-go order. The fried avocado tacos, and the sauce that come with them are fantastic! If you are dining in, they have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, including frozen margaritas, which are tasty. Great tortas, soup and very good French fries. The empanadas are the best in town that we have found, and we love the chimichurri served with them. They reheat well the next day at home too. The salsa is good. If you like spicy, ask for the habanero sauce too. Super friendly staff that are committed to providing a quality menu, and great experience and an investment in our community. Highly recommended for takeout or dine-in.
