“I think the food and all also service food but everytime i come and get a to-go I don’t know if you read it but to-go plate is supposed to come WITH A FORK EVERYTIME ANYONE GETS A TO-GO PLATE.“

“I vote give a raise to the cashier and cook that were working at 10:30 tonight. There was only 1 cook and the cashier was so sweet and apologized numerous times for the wait. I never mind waiting if you are short staffed and doing what you can do. With no hate to the restaurant, I have never had my order be 100% correct here and I’ve eaten here hundreds of times, BUT of course tonight it was correct, even with them short of staff. So I applaud them for their hard work! Thank you two for being tedious and having pristine customer service even when being (I’m sure) stressed! “The birria tacos are absolutely amazing. The service was great, my friend and I sat at the bar and the woman working it was very nice, attentive, and answered questions about recommendations. Only thing is that the salsa kinda tastes like marinara sauce instead of salsa, but it's still good. Great prices for everything too.“

Tonight I rediscovered it on door dash. the beef enchiladas were the best I've ever had in my life and the refried beans were excellent too. “Came a few weeks ago and had some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted. I had the happy plate with all the meats-steak, chicken, and shrimp. They forgot one of the meats, but it was okay. It was hot and probably had the best happy plate I’ve ever had. The service was good. The atmosphere was okay, but nothing exceptional. The place was kind of small but overall a great place.“

Felipe and Harold are two AWESOME servers that I would recommend to anyone. If you haven’t given this place a chance, you should!“

We ordered takeout. Picked up and our food but we were missing the wraps for our fajitas. And I said no chili on my tamales and there was chili on them. ? When we called they were already gone for the night. This is normally my go to place so this is a first time my order was ever missing anything.“

“Well I’m from Cali and I’ve been in Mississippi for 8 yrs now. And out of 3 other Mexican restaurants out of Pearl this by far is the best one, they not serving potty meat.The chicken nachos were good, and I also went back for a second time and tried their Mexican tacos. Which were fire, my chips were fresh and the salsa was too. This is definitely my new Mexican spot. And the taste excellent, flavorful and delicious. It doesn’t beat Cali but they got my approval.“

“Absolutely delicious! Staff was welcoming and very friendly! We are in town passing through on way home to Oklahoma. We decided to try here based on the reviews and recommendation of the staff at hotel. So glad we did! Waiter was awesome and helped us have a great experience. Food was some of the most flavorful and delicious Mexican cuisine we’ve had in a while. I definitely recommend. Very pretty and beautiful decor as well. I loved the booth seats and the stained glass windows. So if you’re looking for a flavorful and beautifully seasoned meal, go check them out! Even our kids enjoyed their meals!

“Tonight marked my second dining experience at El Potrillio, and first with the family. The best part about this establishment is the friendly attitudes and humor, along with the family friendly interactions. I saw our server more in ten minutes than I do at most dining establishments the entire service. While this may be a Mexican restaurant, you know they have the kids covered with more than just a kids version of the regular menu, and my children appreciated it as they ordered the kids chicken tenders and mini pepperoni pizza. My husband usually orders the giant burrito, but he opted to order the Parrilla Mexicana for 2, and we were NOT disappointed. There was so much food on the plate, we could have fed our entire family of 4. Needless to say, even after eating, we still had more than enough to eat tomorrow. Every staff member there had a smile on their face, and the restaurant as a whole just provided a welcoming vibe, which was great as my 3 year old was usually calm during her dining experience. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for great flavor and friendly service.“
