“My first time being in Como MS wanting to eat at this place and my 50th Birthday was truly a horrible experience. And my party arrived at 6pm. At 8:15pm we were walking out (over 2hrs of waiting and still no food) place not packed out at all. On a Monday night. So after inquiring about our order an hour later for the cook Cedric Allen to only go completely off acting very unruly about it. Very nasty attitude. Shouting out loudly that if they wanna get up and leave they can. With my party walking out they lost out on over $600 I still want to patronize this place but I refuse to due to the cook and his nasty attitude toward customers. No manger on duty.“

“Brisket sandwich with jalapeños and raw onion was delicious. The only thing I’d change is to slice the onion instead of chopping it cause the chopped onion fell out too easy. The smoked bologna sandwich was also very good. The sides were very large portions. The fried okra was really good also. The slaw was ok. I’d definitely go back.“

“Let me start off by saying, Nice concept.That being said, If you show up thinking you are just going to walk in off the street & get a lane to throw axes you will sorely mistaken! You must reserve your lanes... Was told it was $25 a person for the hour. & all lanes had been booked even though they 5 of them had no one on them for the entire 45 minutes we were there.2nd the food was mid at best... everyone in my group LOVES French fries.... None of us could eat them here... they were to "dry". Burgers had to have been precooked because for that thickness to have came out the kitchen that fast was unbelievable... They had absolutely no flavor. The bun on the other hand was really good.Only way I would ever come back is with reservations to throw axes, & then order food while doing that... Food was not good enough to stand on its own.“

If you're a local and haven't yet tried it or an out-of-towner looking for an authentic MS BBQ experience be sure to stop in and grab a plate with a protein and two tasty sides or a Daily Special.Quick, friendly service and yummy food; the crinkle cut fries were hot and with a good snap, nothing was over seasoned/salted and the potato salad was my favorite side. Connie was bussing tables, refilling drinks and always asking if there was anything else we needed; fantastic service. I see the hours have been adjusted to a breakfast/lunch service only (7:30-3; 2pm on Sat), hopefully this is a positive change that allows employees to have an improved work/life balance.“
